The Apartment and Complex

This 5* apartment comes fully furnished and fitted with all the equipment you will need for a comfortable and enjoyable holiday. It has 2 bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes with build-in drawers. The apartment also benefits from 2 fully fitted bathrooms one of which is en-suite. The modern galley kitchen is also fully fitted and includes a large fridge/freezer and dishwasher, washing machine, as well as a kettle, toaster, coffee maker and microwave etc. The lounge/diner is very tastefully furnished, with the emphasis being on comfort and usability. From the lounge there are large patio doors that lead out to your own private porch set in your own private south facing garden. A garden table and chairs are provided for those of you wishing to eat al fresco and take full advantage of the warm weather and sea breeze. The lounge comes equipped with an LCD TV and UK Sky Channels and DVD Player and TDT.

Surrounding area: Vera Playa is about 5 minutes away and is a point of reference for lovers of naturism as in El Playazo de Vera, a strip of coast with 5 kilometres of beach with white sands and crystalline waters, is the only naturist hotel complex and beach in Spain. Puerto Rey is our nearest beach being about 2 minutes away and forms part of the longest stretch of beaches in Almeria (8 kilometres). There are also numerous bars, shops and restaurants in this area. Vera Playa also has the Water Park of Parque Acuatic, which with its many shoots and slides, plus areas to relax in offers all the ingredients for a great day out. Just down the coast about 10 minutes away is the seaside village of Garrucha. If you are around early in the morning, you can see the fishermen sailing out to sea. A fish auction is held about 5.30pm every evening chaired by the said same fishermen. Garrucha has a great beach, shops, bars and restaurants and is the “Mecca” of fish.

Surrounding area: Mojacar Playa is about 15 minutes drive away and offers a wide selection of shops, restaurants and bars as well as nightclubs. Mojacar Playa also has a great sandy beach and a long promenade that is perfect for strolling along.

Mojacar Pueblo is about 5 minutes from Mojacar Playa and is an ancient Moorish village. It is located on the mountain top over looking the sea. It has narrow streets and cube-like whitewashed houses. It is great for exploring in the daytime and at night its bars serve some great tapas.

There is a sport centre about 5 minutes away that has a gym, tennis courts and golf driving ranges. Water sports are also available at the majority of the beaches. As are horse riding, quad bike tours and rentals.

Further a field: Almeria city is about 50 minutes away and has all of the large shops and department stores that makes for a good day shopping. It is a lively and modern city, with a large port where you can get a ferry to Africa. It also has a bus and railway station. Almeria city also has a sports marina and fishing port It is an old historical city and therefore has a wealth of historical sites, museums and art galleries. It also benefits from great restaurants, traditional tapas bars and nightclubs. It even has a long and wide sandy beach.

Mini-Hollywood where they filmed the spaghetti westerns such as, “the Good the Bad and the Ugly”, “the Magnificent Seven” and “A Fistful of Dollars” and many more films is now a mock-up of an American Wild West town set in the Tabernas Desert. It offers a great day out for all.

The Sierra Nevada Mountains are excellent for hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter and are about 2 hours away. The famous town of Granada is about 2 hours away also.

Bastante correcto

Apartamento planta baja muy cuidado en urbanización muy agradable. Flexibilidad tanto en horarios de entrada como de salida por parte de agente que nos recibió. A escasos 5 minutos de la playa en coche y a 5 minutos andando de supermercado Mercadona.

Por poner alguna pega la piscina climatizada tenía demasiado cloro y habría que darle un repaso de limpieza a la cocina (cajones por dentro, campana extracción de humos y menaje).

Hemos venido en líneas generales muy contentos.

Apartment thats great for familes

This apartment was great for us as it was on the ground floor so easily assessible for my daughter in wheelchair. It was spacious and had everything i needed from washing machine to dishwasher, two bathrooms with baths and showers,everthing i needed was available. Outdoor pool was fantastic and very warm with life guard. The super market was within walking distance and the local sangria was very good,so you could enjoy drinks in the veranda in the evenings. If you didnt fancy cooking, 5minutes away was the local bar which did great tapas and other local dishes. There is a great water park within driving distance and also lots of markets to visit. We enjoyed buying cooked chicken and potatos from the market for lunch. The fruit is also very good. great places to eat in mojacar eg pizzas on the roof top restaurants overlooking Almeira. The best burger we enjoyed was at the malibu beach restaurant on the sea front. It was amazing.

The wild west show was disappointing this time round and not worth the money. Lots of acts have been cut out. So for a relaxing break, with plenty of sunshine and good food and friendly local people and a great apartment, i would recommend this apartment.

Excellent location

The apartment was very clean, comfortable and in a quiet location. It is also very close to the supermarket which was extremely handy. The complex has its own pool which which is of a good size and kept my 2 boys ages 9 & 11 busy.

The apartment is about 10 mins drive from

the beach which we visited almost every day and other attractions like the water park are also no more than 20 mins away.

All in all a superb holiday.

Alojamiento perfecto y atención estupenda

Quiero dejar constancia con este comentario que mi familia y yo hemos pasado unos días estupendos en este apartamento.En principio las fotos que se publican son una fiel realidad de sus instalaciones.El estado de limpieza en que se encontraba cuando llegamos era estupendo, y el mobiliario y todo el menaje de la cocina se encontraba en perfecto estado.El centro comercial estaba justo al lado y los jardines y piscina bastante cuidados.La zona es tranquila,si buscas descansar alejado del bullicio, pero en coche te puedes mover y en pocos minutos estas en la playa.El porche es bastante agradable para pasar veladas a la luz de la luna y en la televisión puedes ver canales en español.

En resumen....muy recomendable.Saludos.

Tanto el apartamento como las zonas comunitarias están prácticamente nuevos.

Está perfectamente equipado con todas las comodidades, lo que nos ha permitido una estancia muy agradable. Tan sólo indicar que la habitación más pequeña olía un poquito a humedad y la puerta del armario cerraba mal.

Está situado muy cerca de un supermercado Mercadona, no obstante aclarar que la urbanización está lejos de la playa y necesitas coche.

Es ideal para familias con niños.

Un bonito y tranquilo apartamento .

Quiero mediante esta página recomendar a todo el mundo este apartamento pues tanto mi familia como yo quedamos muy contentos. Se encuentra en una urbanización muy acogedora y bonita, con jardines bien cuidados. Tiene parque para los niños, piscina tanto al aire como cubierta, pistas para practicar tenis, padel.... El apartamento en sí es acogedor y su propietario lo tiene limpio y bien cuidado. Tienes de todo para sentirte como en casa. La cocina dispone de todas las comodidades. Por si fuera poco a dos minutos de la urbanización hay un gran Supermecado y dispones de restaurantes, asi como de quiosco de prensa, cafes..... a dos minutos. Desde luego volveremos.

The apartment is in the prime location of the area (in my opinion), being close to all of the areas amenities and at the same time providing a quiet place to return to after the day’s activities. There is a large supermarket as well as a couple of bars/restaurants, with internet access a short walk away Although there are buses and taxis, I strongly recommend that you have a car, everything is within a short driving distant. The town of Vera is about 7/8 minutes away and is a historical Spanish town. There are bars, restaurants, and a bullring and football stadium. It is great for shopping and has banks, solicitors, estate agents and every other kind of shops you will need. Vera’ streets are one of the best places to sample the rich local cuisines or to find hand crafted traditional pottery. Vera has a weekly Saturday market where many bargains are to be found.

Other Activities: Go-Karting.

Golf: There are 4 golf courses within 15 minutes drive of the apartment including the famous Desert Springs and 18 holes Valle del Este, and Marina Golf as well as the 9 hole Cortijo Grande.
