About the property

The Norman Knight, Whichford

Stay with us and wake up in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Our self-catering apartment, The Granary, is a charming character bolt-hole. Alternatively camp in comfort in one of our beautiful, high-spec glamping pods. Perfect for exploring The Cotswolds, Stratford-upon-Avon, Oxford and Warwick.

Formerly part of the village bakery, The Granary has an en-suite bathroom with over-head shower, kitchenette, free high-speed WiFi and a flat-screen TV.

The glamping pods tucked behind the pub are a stone's throw from some of the finest Cotswold countryside around. Each pod has an en-suite with shower, kitchenette, heating, free high-speed WiFi and smart TV.

Guests visiting The Norman Knight pub can enjoy fine ales, lunches and dinners with a fabulous view of the village green and Whichford Hill beyond. With its Cotswold stone interior, oak beams and flagstones the pub is full of character and old world charm. Two wood-burning stoves make it a cosy refuge for visitors in the cooler months. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff warm and welcoming.

The creative, seasonal menu is made from locally sourced, fresh ingredients.

The Norman Knight also has a well-earned reputation as a drinking destination. It offers a great selection of hand-pulled guest ales and ciders alongside popular permanent residents Hooky and its own Stratford-upon-Avon Brewery ales. It features in the CAMRA Good Pub Guide 2017 and is a previous regional pub of the year winner twice over.

There are wonderful walks on the doorstep, including the Macmillan Way which passes through the adjacent Whichford Woods.

When arriving please be aware the pub is closed between 3:00pm - 6:00pm. Please call 01608 684621 to advise us of your arrival time

The Norman Knight is a dog-friendly pub and well-behaved dogs are welcome in our accommodation by arrangement and at a £5 daily surcharge
