Antica Cascina is a country house that dates back to the early 1700s, completely renovated respecting the tradition.
You will be accommodated in the main house with a view of the magnificent church of 1600 two bedrooms of 20 square meters each, a bathroom of 25 square meters with exposed beams, a large fully equipped kitchen where you can cook and taste the local specialties and maybe go to the discovery of old recipes cooking with the family.
All the ground floor is at your disposal to live relaxed, in complete freedom completely immersed in the tranquility of nature and enjoy the countryside surrounding the house, strolling relaxed in the long avenue of lime trees and explore the orchard with the ancient fruits, or leave with bicycles made available to you and pedal along the magnificent cycle paths along the great river.
In good weather you can have lunch outdoors in one of the two equipped gardens or rest under the umbrella reading a good book.
You can watch the milking of the cows and see how Parmigiano Reggiano is made. During the various periods of the year it is also possible to see the harvesting of wheat in June, from May to August, haymaking, at the end of August the harvest of maize, September the harvest of Lambrusco, October the plowing of the earth and autumn sowing.
