About Angela Matthews Siegrist
We are a British/Swiss Family living in Switzerland. Angela moved to Switzerland in 1995 when she married, and later sold her house in Oxfordshire to buy this house in Lulworth in 1999, a place our family loves, and which is also close to Angela's father near Bournmouth.
Angela Matthews Siegrist purchased this House in 1999
Why Angela Matthews Siegrist chose West Lulworth
Lulworth is our English home which we visit as often as we can in our holidays. We love to spend time in this beautiful area and are very happy to let the house so that others can explore this region.
What makes this House unique
The house is located in a quiet residential dead-end road with views over fields and with direct access on foot to The Ranges, which when open at weekends and during school holidays have wonderful coastal walks and views. The house itself is not of any achitectural interest and it doesn't have any special features, but makes a great base for Holidays and breaks in this wonderful part of the country.

Great location to base your visit to Dorset
Very good, if a little basic (see below), accommodation for a family or two couples (third bedroom is bunk beds). Fabulous views out to hillside leading to coastal walks and close access to many Dorset attractions. Good value.
Property would benefit from some garden maintenance and more comfortable outside furniture . TV is size of a small computer monitor and it would have been nice to have one even a little bit bigger. While there is a washer/dryer on premises, it should be readily accessible to visitors and it is not.
Great place to stay wonderful location
We stayed here over Easter 2019, myself, Daughter, Son in Law and my two Grandsons. A short walk through the fields to the top of the hill to a magnificent view of the Jurassic coast and in particular Lulworth Cove. As the weather was perfect it was busy but being so close to the coast there was no need to worry about taking the car. Lots of things are close, Monkey World, Bovington tank Museum. House was comfortable, no need to bring anything apart from towels. Only thing that would be nice is a washing machine. Having two small fun loving boys who get their clothes grubby that would be nice. Yes, I would certainly use this property again.
Fabulous House and Place
We had very pleasant stay at Angela’s house at West Lulworth. The house was very convenient for 5 of us. Very spacious and it had all what we need for the stay. Fully equipped kitchen (all new). I would give 5 stars 😊. The house is very close to Lulworth Cove (walkable) and Durdle Door(need car). Very calm location. Just opposite there is a hill where sheeps are grazing and it was good experience for my kids. Property Manger Pat was very helpful and was always there for any help( in my case there was no concern to address at all). Wish to return for another stay. Thank You Angela.
Perfect for the 4 of us - and for enjoying the south coast
Warm, spacious and well equipped. Clean and orderly throughout and all went well from start to finish. My children stayed in the twin room so the 3rd bedroom (with bunk beds) wasn't used. All bedrooms has plenty of storage. Plenty of magazines, books and games so our short spells of indoor time was well catered for too. 10 minutes to the coast through a pretty village - or safer pathways if you prefer. We walked west one day, east the next - with our inexpensive meals out being fish and chips twice from the Cove. Very enjoyable break and we're looking to return. Booking and information all very easy, friendly and informative. Recommended.
Plenty of room!
No frills as stated but plenty of room for everybody. Large kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and more. Loved all the books and magazines!
Small village shop, so bring plenty of supplies food wise. Local pub food expensive, so treat yourself to fish and chips in the evening down the road at Lulworth Cove.
Lovely views of the Purbeck Hills out of front window, liked watching the dog walkers enjoying their walks!
Thank you for the review. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. It's a pity about the pub Food since it was taken over earlier this year. Did you try the Lulworth Cove Inn? Bigger choice and bit better value.
Very enjoyable holiday,The house was everthing we expected and More.
My Wife and I also Daughter have been to this part of Dorset before ,but the two grandchildren have not so this weeks holiday was for them.We all had a good holiday
Thanks again Graham.
