Apple Tree Lodge is a typical Herefordshire style black and white timbered building accessed via external wooden steps comprising an open plan sitting/dining room with vaulted ceiling and triple aspect windows along with a wood burning stove. There is also a kitchen, a bedroom and shower room. Situated in rural Herefordshire on the border with Shropshire in beautiful, peaceful countryside. The Barn is open plan living with rustic original features with a modern twist. There are some low beams inside the property so tall people be careful!
Apple Tree Lodge is ideally suited for two adults and 1 or 2 young children, but please bear in mind that the accommodation is located on the first floor and is accessed via an external wooden staircase. There is one bedroom with a double bed. A day bed can be put in the lounge area which can accommodate a child. The kitchen is fully equipped with washing machine, cooker with oven dishwasher, microwave and fridge freezer.
Guests will have their own private area with outdoor patio which has a table and chairs and BBQ in the summer time. Apple Tree Lodge has its own private gravelled entrance from the road. There are animals at the property. Sheep in the fields, pigs, 2 cats and chickens. We don't allow you to bring your own pets but you can bring your horse. We have 3 stables available so if you wanted to bring your horse on holiday this will not be a problem. We have an all weather outdoor arena and there are lots of bridle paths around the area. Please email for details on daily rates for accommodating your horse.
As we live nearby, if there is any help needed, or indeed advice on places to visit and things to do we'd be more than happy to assist you during your stay to make sure you have an enjoyable visit.
We strongly recommend bringing walking attire, either boots, wellies or trainers that you don't mind getting muddy.
