This property is situated just one road back from the seafront parade in the East Sussex town of Eastbourne. The town became a popular resort in Victorian times and there is plenty to remind visitors of the town s past including the impressive pier which has been painstakingly restored following a fire in 2014. Not only does the pier offer a unique perspective of the sea and the beach but it is also home to a lovely tea room a jazz lounge and a nightclub. Asides from the beach which is manned by lifeguards in high-season there is plenty more to see and do in the area including Beachy Head a miniature steam railway a water sports centre and an impressive seafront fortress. The first room that guests come to on entering this charming property is the lounge which with its light and airy feel gives guests a taste of just how much effort the owners have put into creating a welcoming and relaxing place to stay. This elegant room has a large bay window two comfortable sofas a flame-effect fire a TV/DVD. Beyond the lounge there is a separate dining room with space for six guests which with its iPod dock and well-stocked games cupboard is also a great place to enjoy a fun family games night. The kitchen meanwhile offers an oven hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher and washing machine and has a door leading out to the patio garden. Two of the properties bedrooms are located on the first floor: a king-size room and a pleasant twin room with an attractive feature fireplace. The bathroom is also on this floor. On the second floor affectionately known as the Top Deck there is a stylish twin room which has been lovingly styled to create a bright space with a seaside feel. This room benefits from an en-suite shower room with WC. A patio door leads from the kitchen out to an enclosed patio garden to the rear of the property. This south-facing space has a table and chairs which makes a brilliant place for enjoying al fresco drinks and meals. There is unrestricted roadside parking just in front of the property.
