About Paul Robinson
As well as running the Bed and Breakfast, I'm a full-time member of the Woodhead Mountain Rescue Team. So if you are looking for a hiking or biking holiday, I can help you with maps and advise you on the best places to go during your stay. As a former secondary art teacher, I create my own art, in my studio and often run courses for members of the community or guests who come to stay. My wife and I enjoy meeting people and make everyone very welcome at our family run Bed and Breakfast in Penistone.

Why Paul Robinson chose Barnsley District
We bought Lyndene in 2015. We wanted to purchase a property full of Victorian charm and character, an old building that needed bringing back to life. After fully renovating the building, we were finally ready to welcome guests in December 2017. We love living next to The Peaks and having the option for days out in Holmfirth, Sheffield, Manchester or Leeds.
What makes this Bed And Breakfast unique
We purchased Lyndene, due to it being very close to the Peak District National Park but in a small town full of friendly people and community spirit.

From our arrival to our departure Paul and Sophie couldn't do enough to help us. The room was delightful and had everything we needed. The concern shown to my husband suffering with a bad back was overwhelming, it even included the loan of a hot water bottle!
Thank you, we highly recommend Lyndene and look forward to visiting again, Sara & Paul
