This villa gives you a WOW holiday.
Me, Sandra and my partner, Jaap live for 8 years on Lanzarote. Original born in Belgium and my partner in Holland. We live ourself on 5 km of the house. We bought Villa Sandra in 2011 and did the complete renovation ourselves, with the idea to give our guests a magnificent holiday in a relaxing area. Not only the design was important but also the villa needed to be easy to use. We did the same with Villa Perla Amour in the same estate which is also available for rental up to 8 people. We also own a jewellery shop in Yaiza and we have staff doing markets, with the original handmade jewellery, designed by us. Besides that I do some interior design work for other rental houses. I work voluntary for the Dutch consulate and the ANWB, an insurance company, to help foreigners when they have problems during their holidays. (Like translating in the hospital when people get ill)
Sandra purchased this villa in 2011
We bought this property from the bank in a terrible state. We renewed it completely, starting with electricity, windows, pool, kitchen, bathrooms, .... After 6 months working together, 6 days a week, the house was ready to go into rental. In the mean time we had loads of happy guests. And are we still working hard to keep the villa updated to the high level we want to offer.
My experience is that most guests love the outside area. Covered from the wind, it is a very private, relaxing area with a heated pool, sun loungers, outside dining table, a pool table, a BBQ and sun or shade all day long. And off course the master bed and bathroom gives most of the times a WHOW!!
Stayed at the villa 11th-18th October with my boyfriend and his Dad.
We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in such a beautifully furnished spacious villa.
The kitchen is gorgeous and looks great at night with the blue lights on and wish I could take it home with me haha. The owners, Sandra & her husband (whose name I dare try and spell) were really friendly & helpful too. We opted to have Sandra pick us up from the airport , which was great as we stopped at a supermarket on the way back to the villa to stock up and when we arrived the cleaners were pretty much done so we got in a little bit early, which was great! Even though the weather was fabulous, we still opted to have the pool heated and think it would've been a little too cold otherwise.
The walk to the town is a fair walk (about 25 mins to the centre) which I did once on an evening on our way to dinner. After that I decided we would take Taxis - which were 4-5 euros each way.
The boys climbed the nearby volcano, which they enjoyed and we also did the 2 hour buggy tour, which was great fun and a great way to see some of the nearby towns!
All in all, a great holiday in a beautiful villa! Thanks very much, from Emma, Adam & Dave :)
In August we spent a week at Villa Sandra.
I can say that we have had a great holiday.
The villa is exactly as told us in the information and the pictures are correct.
For next year we book again and then for two weeks.!!!!!
We so happy we found this place.
All I can say is it was like paradise we had a fantastic time while staying here and are already looking to book again for later in the year, it really is one you have to visit to believe it. My husband and I have been to Playa Blanca many many times but this I have to say was one of the most enjoyable and hope there are many more.
Thank you so much for all of your help and we look forward to seeing you later in the year again.

Playa Blanca is one of Lanzarote's three major resorts. The resort still revolves around the fishing village which is home to the small but attractive beach. The beach is backed by an attractive promenade with a variety of restaurants, coffee shops and bars. To the east of the centre is Playa Dorada and this is a perfect place for catching the sun. Next to Playa Dorada is the Papagayo Commercial Centre which houses a variety of shops, bars and restaurants.
Further eastwards along the promenade is the Marina Rubicon. This is a relatively new attraction to Playa Blanca and has a selection of waterfront coffee bars and restaurants. Behind the waterfront are a number of designer outlets and boutiques, and there is a market on Wednesday and Saturday with local crafts & ornaments. It's also possible to walk from Las Coloradas to the world famous Papagayo Beaches. Westward from town, past the harbour, is Punta Limones and the resorts second beach – Playa Flamingo.
Golf: Lanzarote Golf
Ctra. Puerto del Carmen – Tías, s/n
35510 Puerto del Carmen, Tías.
It is situated in the tourist centre of Puerto del Carmen just 5 minutes from the best hotels and beaches of the island and 10 minutes from the airport. About 25 minutes drive from Playa Blanca.
It is a modern golf course with 18 holes, par 72, created by the well–known North American designer Ron Kirby.
Golf Costa Teguise
Avenida del Golf, s/n
35508 Costa Teguise.
This golf course lies at the foot of an old volcano and has breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. This 18-hole course, which was designed by British landscape architect John Harris, was built in 1978.
This is a fantastic course, not only because of its design but also thanks to the excellent condition in which it is kept all year round. The course runs along the side of an old volcano, set within an inspirational landscape of volcanic lava, cacti and palm trees.
