Family River Trip
We LOVEd everything about our trip. The house was perfect for our family! We had plenty of room for everyone and the house was stocked with pretty much everything we needed. You do need to bring your own paper plates and maybe some fans to put in the bedrooms to drown out the noise (we had napping babies), but other than that, I can't think of a thing that wasn't provided. The kids loved the river (it's great for all ages), watching the deer, catching fireflies, playing kick ball, making smores, and so much more. We really enjoyed going to the end of the dead end road and letting the kids ride their scooters on the drainage ditch by the bridge. Everything felt so safe and secure, we never worried about leaving our stuff outside at all. The Lonestar Barn is a great place to hang out after the kiddos get to bed. We only got to use it one of the nights we were there but we definitely enjoyed the time we did get to spend in it playing dominoes and beer pong!! Overall, it was a great family river trip and we hope to go again....maybe next year! Kim is an excellent host and great communicator. The booking, check-in and check-out could not have been any easier.
We loved our time here. River was amazing, house was great. Would definitely recommend.
Perfect Family Weekend on the River
Everyone in my family (8 of us) feel extremely lucky to have found the Guadalup-Hey! House for our anniversary celebration. Here's why: rockin a/c, spacious, beauty, SWIMMING just outside the back door, amazing porch, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds & plenty of bedding, clear instructions & easy check-in, gorgeous design, modern fixtures and amenities, beautiful neighborhood/area. It is not always easy to relax and have fun with family. But we had the space and comfort to relax and really enjoy each other.
We also loved going into town to parks & restaurants (Rails highly recommended, including Megan, our server).
Thank you, Thank you, Kim!!
We had a great time house is Amazing. We really enjoyed feeding the deer every night and hanging out in the river all day will be making this an annual family trip
Great for the family!
Wonderful time! Loved the house and it’s in the perfect spot. Perfect for families with small children as the river has some shallow areas for play. Beautiful nice and serene setting. We had a few questions before our trip and while there, Kimberly was easy to get a hold of and was very helpful. Our family loved it and will be back!
