Currently being developed and scheduled to open for July 2018, this is an opportunity to secure one of Cornwall's newest luxury holiday homes. Suitable for a couple of families, this 4 bedroom property will sleep up to 8 adults, but also has a family bedroom to accommodate 2 extra children.

In an incredible location, this magnificent conversion of a former barn offers guests a comfortable and very stylish retreat. Polurrian House will be a beautifully presented stone barn, retaining many of its original features which, due to the thoughtful design by the Owner and master craftsmen, will blend seamlessly with contemporary additions. Set out in reverse style, the living space will be at first floor to take advantage of the valley views. The open plan living-room and kitchen with beamed ceilings will have a cosy wood burning stove and access to the garden via a small balcony and external stairs. The ground floor bedrooms will have french windows opening onto the private garden and hot tub. There will four bedrooms in total, all of which will be incredibly spacious. The quality finish will continue in the open plan solid oak fitted kitchen which will have granite work surfaces and Neff appliances throughout.


Ground Floor: The main entrance opens into a ground floor lobby to with access to the bedrooms. There is a family bedroom with a zip and link bed (either a 6' double or 2 singles) plus bunk beds that would be suitable for children. There are also french windows that open directly onto the garden with the hot tub. There is a further double bedroom with a 5' bed and a large en-suite shower room. The third bedroom on the ground floor has a 6'3 super king-sized double bed and three old amazing original stone old decorative fireplaces and also french windows onto the garden. There is a family bathroom with a bath and separate shower cubicle. Both bedrooms have access to the private garden with the hot tub. A stunning staircase leads to the

First Floor: A beautiful open plan living space with stunning views across the valley and rolling countryside. A set of french windows onto a large balcony with chairs with external stairs down to the garden and hot tub. The sitting-area has comfortable sofas around the cosy wood-burning stove There is the gorgeous solid oak fitted kitchen at one end with granite work surfaces and Neff appliances. An oak dining table seats 10 easily. To one side of the living space is a further bedroom, this one with a zip and link bed (either a 6' double or 2 singles) and an en-suite shower room. There is also a separate WC.

Exterior: There is a grassed garden, enclosed via stock fences and wall so you might have to watch an escapee dog. There is plenty of space to relax, enjoy the hot tub and sit outside in fine weather. There is a BBQ but you will need to provide your own charcoal.

Facilities & Services

There is under floor heating throughout, but the property is so well insulated it is always warm, heated towel rails in the bathroom and a wood burning stove in the sitting room. The kitchen has an electric hob, electric oven, microwave with grill, toaster, kettle, fridge/freezer, washing machine/drier and dishwasher. In the sitting room there is a flat screen, large TV & DVD player. WiFi is available throughout the property. There is an iron and ironing board. A travel cot & highchair is available (please bring bedding for travel cot).


Electricity, heating, bed linen (apart from cot bedding) & towels are all included but please provide your own beach towels. Off road parking is available. Up to 2 well behaved dogs will be permitted at a small additional cost of £25 per dog / per week. Additional dogs may be permitted on application. Please bring towels for the dogs and do not allow them on the furniture or in the bedrooms at anytime. Regrettably no smoking is allowed.

The Lizard is an area of outstanding natural beauty, teeming with wildlife and beautiful coves, beaches, fishing villages and stunning scenery. The cottages are perfectly set up by the Owners to ensure a relaxing, tranquil holiday. Nanplough has a remote feel, but it is only a short drive to Helston and much of south and western Cornwall is within easy reach. There are lots of footpaths, some right from the doorstep, and the Coastal Path is close by, there is also the heated swimming pool with plenty of space around the pool with loungers along with tables and chairs to relax on. The Lizard is an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'and has some spectacular coastal walks. It is England's most southerly point and the highlights include early Spring flowers, the Lizard lighthouse, swimming and surfing from sandy beaches, delightful fishing coves, sailing on the Helford river and Falmouth, heather covered moors in Autumn, open gardens and National Trust areas, pretty harbour lights at Christmas, friendly pubs and good, fresh, local food! There are loads of places to visit and highlights include Lizard Point, walks along the coastal path, a visit to Trelowarren Estate, the fascinating Goonhilly Earth Station, Flambards is great for the kids and you can step into Cornwall's mining heritage at the Poldark Mine.

Mullion is the largest village situated on the Lizard Peninsula and boasts a number of quality pubs, cafes and restaurants among it's various attractions. Four beaches - Mullion Cove, Poldhu Cove and Polhurrian Cove - are conveniently nearby and easy access to the South West Coastal Path offers visitors the chance to explore the beautiful surrounding scenery.

At the heart of the village stands a 13th century church, famous for it's ornate woodwork decorating the end of the each pew and depicting scenes from the Old and New Testament. Outside in the water, two, thick sea walls, built in the late 19th century, protect the harbour from the worst of the wind. Local fisherman still work in the harbour to land fabulous fresh seafood, some of which is then served in the local pubs and restaurants.

There are so many activities to choose from locally. You can take a boat trip across the beautiful Helford River and explore the gardens at Trebah. There are sea fishing trips from Porthleven. There is great diving on the Manacles and coasteering is available for the really adventurous. The Lizard is home to the Cornish Chough if you like a spot of bird-watching. The coastline has many pretty coves and beaches to discover, but you can find great surf at Porthleven or Loe Bar.
