casa DROMe was built in the early 1920's. The dwelling has a long history of being: a residence, art gallery, office space and now revitalized to it's original purpose -- home. Embracing New Mexico's light through out; relax in the 1300sf space, enjoy the front portal or private courtyard. casa DROMe is the ultimate in comfort and contemporary southwest style. The owner presents her "hospitality design" occupation and expertise to provide you with high quality furnishes and finishes. There are hardwood floors through out and natural stone tile in the bathrooms.
The high ceiling in the living room is constructed with original vigas. The space is furnished with a leather Henredon sofa, kiva fireplace, Sony LCD smart TV, WiFi, and Sonos music for your enjoyment. The kitchen is equipped with Kraft Maid cabinets and limestone countertops, stainless steel appliances: Summit refrigerator and electric range/oven, Whirlpool dishwasher, and micro-wave. The master bedroom wing consist of a sleeping area with a king size bed dressed in Signoria bedding, a newly remodeled master bath w/shower, stone vanity sink, Toto water closet, and Whirlpool washer/dryer. There is also a dressing room with a desk and settee for quiet reading or your relaxation. The second bedroom consist of a queen size bed and ample closet space. The second bath, also newly remodeled, has custom hand made tiles, a shower, vanity and Kohler water closet.

What a wonderful place!

This home is just perfection! The location is great… a block off the square. It’s very clean and well stocked. The home is filled with that cozy, artsy Santa Fe feeling including the cute enclosed outdoor patio which offers another spot to relax or have a meal. Communication with Carolyn is fast, friendly, and very helpful. Checking in and out was a breeze. It’s obvious Carolyn takes great pride in this beautiful home and we enjoyed every second of our time there. We will be back!

Beautiful Santa Fe Living

Lovely, cozy, comfortable, well-appointed adobe style home in the heart of Santa Fe. Easy access and walkable to all things in heart of town, from sites and galleries to restaurants and museums. Owner is very responsive and easy to connect with. Highly recommend to those looking for an upscale experience with everything at your finger tips.

Best Santa Fe location

We stayed here with my brother-in-law and his wife. Location couldn’t be better. We walked to every meal but one. The square was two blocks away. We watched the eclipse from one block away. Georgia O’Keefe museum a five minute walk. Great shopping minutes from house and we could walk to canyon road. House was very comfortable for four adults. We would definitely stay here again.

Incredible Vacation

Review of Santa Fe VRBO How does one describe a near perfect vacation? My wife and I have traveled to Santa Fe at least 20 times over the past 30 years. It is one of my favorite spots on the globe. We have stayed in a variety of places. This residence is the best place we've ever stayed in Santa Fe. First, the location is ideal. It is only two blocks from the town Square, which is surrounded by or very close to restaurants and shops. Despite being so close to the town Square, it sits on a quiet street, and there is almost no noise. You feel quiet and secluded despite being so close to things. This residence marvelously combines solitude and quiet with remarkable proximity. Second, the house is beautifully appointed. The owner is an artist, and her wonderful art pieces fill the house. (Some of those art pieces are for sale.) The furnishings and art are tasteful, creative, and imaginative. Every room had something interesting to look at. The house itself is immaculate. The layout of the house maximizes privacy. Third, the house contains an absolutely wonderful patio accessible from either the Living Room or master bedroom. It is surrounded by the house itself on one side and a beautiful 6-foot attractive wall on the street side. It is remarkably quiet and private. My wife rates this stay the best we have ever had in Santa Fe, which is saying a lot since we have vacationed in Santa Fe so often. We cannot wait to return.
