Littlehampton and beyond
This apartment is located in the centre of the traditonal town of Littlehampton with its bustling marina and harbour where you can watch the fishermen brining in their daily catch or stroll along the boulevard enjoying the traditional seaside attractions. It is a great base to visit many Sussex attractions including Arundel Castle and Cathedral. Arundel, is 5 miles away, and is the seat of the Dukes of Norfolk and is set in 40 acres of sweeping grounds and gardens. The castle has been seasonally open to visitors for nearly 200 years. It is one of the great treasure houses of England and is home to priceless works of art in stunning rooms. Climbing the 131 steps to the Keep which dates from the 11th century to take in the views over Arundel and the South Downs is definitely worth the effort.
The South Downs National Park is north of the St Catherines Apartments with its border at nearby Slindon. Here you are offered the beauty of the rolling hills, glorious heathland, river valleys, ancient woodland as well as bustling market towns. You can drive 30 minutes to Goodwood which, alongwith its many facilities and attractions, is also home to some of the most prestigious events in the county including the motorsports events and horseracing at Glorious Goodwood.
