This lovely, typical Canarian style villa is set in a pretty, tree lined and private garden in the lower part of Los Mojones, Puerto del Carmen. It's in a great location: supermarket, restaurants, bars and shopping all just a 6-7 minute walk away (550m); harbour 12 minutes (1km); and both beaches just 13 minutes walk away (1.2km).

Villa Marcos is enclosed with wrought iron gates, has high walling, a pedestrian gate and a gate into the driveway with space to park two cars. The villa is two storey. On the upper level is a shower room and the master bedroom, which has a double and opens to a spacious balcony overlooking the pool and garden. All the other accommodation is on the lower level including two shower rooms, two twin rooms, and another bedroom with a double and doors to its own terrace. The dual aspect lounge/diner is spacious and comfortable. WiFi is available. The internet TV provides a very good range of channels. The traditional style kitchen has all you need for cooking at home. There is a large covered terrace with barbecue and table and chairs for al-fresco dining.

The 8m x 4m private pool is a comfortable 1.4 metres deep all over and is surrounded by astro turf with lots of space for sunbeds. There are sunny and shaded areas around the villa to suit everybody. There is a pool table that can convert to a table tennis table located on the patio off the kitchen. This is a very attractive, secluded villa located in a quiet residential area and will appeal to larger families and couples alike.

Villa Marcos, Los Mojones, Old Town, Puerto del Carmen

Los Mojones is a residential area of quality villas and a part of Puerto Del Carmen’s old town. This quiet part of Puerto del Carmen has a large range of individual villas spread over quite a large area. This villa is located in the lower part of Los Mojones, which is quite important when going out. Some villas rented in this area can be between 10 and 20 minutes further back from the amenities.

Supermarket: 6 minute walk (550m) east to Lidl at No. 1, Calle Juan Carlos I. A large well-stocked supermarket with a great meat counter for your BBQ. When paying just ask a staff member to call a taxi for you and they will happily do so.

Local restaurants/ bars: 7 minute walk (550m) south-east.

Biosfera Shopping Plaza: 6 minute walk (550m) south to No. 15, Calle Juan Carlos I. Four floors of shops, restaurants and amusements including the Starlight Open Air cinema playing 2 English movies each evening, a billiard and pool hall, crazy golf, and Cine6D virtual reality motion rides.

Harbour: 12 minute walk (1km) south-west for a wide choice of restaurants and bars in the harbour area. Great for lunch, dinner or a drink while an adventure playground keeps the children amused. Lots of choice of boat trips from the harbour including trips down 50m deep in a submarine, scuba diving and the Water Taxi to the marina at Puerto Calero.

Beaches: Playa Chica, a 13 minute walk (1.2km) south, is a pretty little cove surrounding by volcanic rocks, which is perfect for snorkelling and diving (a dive school is located here). Other sports enjoyed at Playa Chica are parascending, banana boat rides, single and double jet-skiing, Crazy UFO and Fly-boarding. The main beach, Playa Grande, a 14 minute walk (1.2km) south-east, is a long stretch of fine-grain sand with calm waters because of it's gentle shelf and little current, ensuring paddling and swimming are very safe.

Main Beach Road: 10 minute walk (800m) south, to the western end of Avenida de las Playas, the long 'strip' of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops of the greatest variety that runs parallel to Playa Grande. Beach-side, the palm-tree lined promenade is perfect for strolling, jogging, cycling on the red brick cycling lane (many bicycle renting places available), or just people watching.

Don’t forget taxi fares are inexpensive in Lanzarote if you don’t want to walk home.

Lanzarote Golf: an 18-hole public course 5 minutes drive (2.7km) or 32 minutes walk (2.5km).

Puerto Calero: 30-50 minute walk (4km) west along the coastal walkway and you will reach the marina at Puerto Calero, where there are lovely restaurants and gorgeous shopping. This walk is very popular with our clients. There is also a water taxi from the Puerto del Carmen's old town harbour if you don’t fancy the walk either one way or both ways. The restaurants in Puerto Calero are perfect for a long lazy lunch. The water taxi costs 6 Euros one way and the last one leaves to come back at about 5pm.

Aqualava Water Park: a geothermally-heated water park 27 minutes (29km) south-west, great fun for all the family.
