Wells is just five miles away and has many historical features including the magnificent Cathedral and moated Bishops Palace. There s a wealth of cafes and restaurants to suit all tastes a mix of independent and high street shops thriving markets and even a cinema. Travelling through the gorge to Cheddar is spectacular enjoy exploring the village caves and Wookey Hole. Visit the village of Priddy which is a short drive away where you can walk the Mendip Way which provides miles of beautiful pathways to be enjoyed by foot or bike or enjoy a car free day as there is a bus stop nearby which takes you to Bristol Temple Meads Railway Station Wells Glastonbury and Street. You are welcomed into the delightful detached property and into the kitchen/diner which is a perfect space for trying out new recipes or old family favourites.
