3 bedroom 2 bath, completely remodeled home on quiet street and close to all

This home was completely remodeled in 2016. There is a nice spacious kitchen with new appliances. Three bedrooms and 2 baths. Master Bedroom with king bed, second bedroom has queen bed. The family room can also be used as a third bedroom by closing the french doors, pulling down the shades and you have a private bedroom with a queen size sofa bed with upgraded mattress (similar to sleep number). The backyard offers a quiet place to relax with BBQ, table and chairs. There are two smart tv’s and wireless internet access.

Our home is located in a very nice quiet neighborhood and is a close walk to most of the fun that University Heights and Hillcrest has to offer. You can walk to some of the best restaurants, cafes, bars and grocery stores. It is also just down the street from one of San Diego's largest Farmers Markets (every Sunday). It is very centrally located with easy access to downtown, beaches, North Park and shopping malls. Just a short drive to Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo, museums, little Italy and downtown San Diego, which are all about 5 minutes away. Sea World and local beaches are less then 10 minutes.

About Nancy Tabachki

We are long time San Diego residents and own several rental properties in the area. Neil grew up in Detroit and ended up in San diego when he was transferred here in the Navy, he loved it so much he never left. Nancy is a native Californian and grew up in Torrance. Neil worked for the San Diego County Superior court as a Court Reporter for 27 years and Nancy is a Realtor and manages our properties. We recently moved from the city out to the san diego mountain area of Julian. We have several horses including mini horses that we do therapy work with.

Why Nancy Tabachki chose University Heights

We love the location of this property, it is so centrally located. We really enjoy that we can walk to several restaurants, bars and go grocery shopping. We also love that the freeway is so close and we can get to all the major attractions within minutes. It had been a long term rental for us and when it became vacant we decided to remodel it and use it as our second home.

What makes this house unique

We love the original hardwood floors and coved ceiling. Its fun to walk the neighborhood and see all the restored older homes.

Lovely. Spacious. Convenient.

This property is the perfect home away from home. It is spacious (we had three adults- one in the king bedroom, one in the queen bedroom, and one on the couch in the den), attractively and completely furnished (down to toiletries and condiments), and in Hillcrest, which is our favorite San Diego location! The enclosed courtyard was an unexpected jewel, and everything went without a hitch. In fact, the hosts could NOT have been nicer, including returning an IPad my daughter forgot and left on the bed. I wish they allowed pets, as our son (who lives in San Diego) visited us and would liked to have been able to bring his dog along, but other than that, it is the PERFECT accommodation for a family.

Great Place to Come Home to!

My husband and I visited here with my sister and her young daughter joining us for part of the time. It couldn't have worked out better. Plenty of room for everyone on our 11 day stay in San Diego. The den made a nice place to relax after a full day of site seeing activities if you don't need it for a bedroom. If you do, the living room was also comfortable to relax in as well. They have a full listing of cable channels. The patio in the back was nice too although we didn't get to use it too often since it gets dark early in January.

We ate dinner at the house on most nights. The kitchen is well equipped to make that easy to do. There are a number of good quality grocery stores nearby as well. In addition, the house had many extra towels, there were plenty of supplies including paper towel, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, soap, dishwasher detergent, detergent for the washer/dryer, etc.

Check-in was easy. Nancy contacted me early in our stay to see how things were going and responded to my question quickly.

The location was perfect to visit everything in the San Diego area. Took no longer than 15 minutes to get to anywhere and some places less including downtown, Coronado, Beaches, old town, the zoo and Balboa park. Even LaHoya was a quick drive.

Enjoyable stay!!

The house was well stocked and clean.... We enjoyed our stay! The location is great! The house is in walking distance to a couple of eateries and the neighborhood is really quiet. Our host was very accommodating and responsive.... This is a great place to stay!

Great property!!

This was a great property. I stayed here with my husband, infant daughter, older daughter and her fiancé. We all loved the house. It was immaculate upon arrival. The house was well equipped and had plenty of space for all of us. My daughter and her fiancé kept saying how nice the house was so I was happy we stayed there. The one thing that was the absolute best were the beds and the pillows. SOOOOO comfortable!! It literally felt like you were sleeping on air. The house was in a great neighborhood, we ate at El Zarape's Mexican restaurant on Park Blvd. when we didn't cook or eat with family. Very good Mexican food and close to the property. I would recommend this property and definitely stay again.

Great amenities and convenient location!

This charming home is located within 10 minutes of everything we had planned for our trip! With the added bonus of being in a quiet, residential neighborhood. Plus, the owners have equipped it with every amenity you could think of to be comfortable while away from home. Truly enjoyed our time here!
