Ocean Isle Retreat - long weekends in April and May available

Home built in 2015 with ocean and sound views. Five bedrooms, each with ensuite bath, open kitchen space. Two living rooms on separate floors provide communal areas as well as some privacy when desired. Extensive decking with crow's nest, dependable wifi, lots of televisions, cable, gas grill, outdoor shower, nice private pool (heated for additional fee), easy walk to beach access and a seasonal community pool as well as a crabbing dock that is included with the rental. Washer and dryer, and kitchen with expected appliances and all the cookware and serving ware you'll need to prepare and serve drinks and family dinners. Free-standing ice machine. This home is located on the West side of the island and about a block to beach access. Easy walking distance to pier, restaurants, arcade, shops, miniature golf, ice cream parlor, and summer concert series.
This home is not a rowdy spring break, party or event house, but a relaxing retreat to enjoy with family and friends. We are appreciative of and respectful to our guests, and hope for the same in return when it comes to care of the property.

Ocean Isle is a relaxed NC island with shops, restaurants, coffee shops, a coastal museum, and a wonderful seasonal pier. There are free weekly events for kids and adults all summer long. Myrtle Beach, SC is a comfortable drive away.

Favorite spot on OIB!

We have gone to OIB for the past three summers with close friends and their kids. This was our favorite house and spot to date! The house is conveniently located a short walk from the beach and you can see the ocean from inside, outside and up above. It’s also an easy quick drive to OIFC/putt putt. The pool in the backyard is a generous size and our combined five kids had a blast using it. We loved the thoughtful decor - it is a heavenly chill vibe and felt like home. Rachel is an AWESOME host. Quick to reply and thorough directions for the house and helpful recommendations for your stay. We are already looking forward to a return trip next LBD! Thank you so much!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Beautiful, comfortable beach house. Perfect for a family gathering.

Three generations of a blended family celebrated 75th Birthday of Grandpa. Children loved the pool, hostess loved the well equipped kitchen and our grillmaster went to town on grill. All guests very comfortable with sleeping arrangements and private bathrooms.

Amazing place!

This is our second summer in Ocean Isle Beach and this house was fantastic. It had everything we needed for 2 families with kids. The location was perfect. Rachel was great with communication.

Another great stay

This is our second year staying at Rachel’s home. The space is perfect for our family of adult children. We love that there is an en-suite bathroom for each bedroom and two living spaces. Easy walk to the beach or center of town.

Great for family

This was our first time to Ocean Isle. It is a cute little town! Our blended family of “kids” age 10-24 really enjoyed our time at this house. Shower time was easy as every room had its own full bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked in surprising ways (multiple veggie peelers that actually worked, various measuring cups and spoons) the only thing you need to buy/bring is food storage containers. There were some spices, salt and pepper, olive oil, PAM, and coffee filters there, as well as hand soap in every bathroom. We left dish detergent and laundry detergent, so pay it forward for the next guest 😊 There were tons of beach toys and boogie boards for the kids, as well as beach chairs in varying conditions. I brought a few from home, but we probably used 4-5 from the house also. You do need to rent towels and sheets. I couldn’t get anyone to answer/call back from Angie’s linens, so I used A&A. The beach towels were terrible, but otherwise the linen service was good. I found a website for Angie’s linens afterwards, so try placing an order that way. We also rented golf carts for use on the island and that was a great decision! The island is very golf-cart friendly and the closest beach access to this house has a parking lot for golf carts only. We enjoyed our time at this house.
