Tom's Cottage is a traditional and very pretty cottage situated in the conservation area of Heacham. It overlooks a private village green and the church, and there is a small garden to the rear. Heacham is the perfect base, away from the bustle of the main coast roads and villages, but only a few minutes drive from the North Norfolk beaches. Heacham is well served with all amenities including pubs, shops, fish and chips, and of course the beach and the amazing sunsets are only a 20 minute walk.

Unsuitable For Holidays
This was the worst accommodation I have ever had on holiday. The rear garden is waist deep in weeds, the garden furniture filthy with bird faeces (so forget sitting out in the sun) and the rear house paintwork peeling and dirty. The rear door is so ill fitting that the gale between that and the ill fitting front door could be used to design aircraft! The carpet in front of the fire is heavily burnt, while the window toward the top of the stair is so heavily lichen stained and dirty as to be almost impossible to see through. There is no shower (I refuse to dignify the hand held contraption in the bath with the name of a shower) and no shaver point so there goes an electric toothbrush! The blinds in the bedroom are as transparent as glass so don't expect a lie in on a morning. Quite frankly I left the holiday one day early and believe this cottage to be a way of taking money from holiday makers with little attempt to either give reasonable value for money, or to give people a half enjoyable experience.
