The duplex property has 2 bedrooms (4 singles) and a convertible sofabed. The Apt can cater for 6 adults. A Bathroom on each floor. The top floor living room has beautiful 360 degrees views of the surrounding areas. The property is fully furnished and has every conceivable requirement for everyday use by holidaymakers. The property has 2 top floor balconies and 1 ground floor balcony, all with excellent views of the surrounding area. There is a swimming pool within a minutes walk and has ample sun chairs for residents. The local bar, the Aries Bar, has an excellent menu at reasonable prices and usually has entertainment nightly. There are other recommended bars and restaurants in the immediate area and also in Golf del Sur which is only a 20 minute walk. The famous fishing village of Los Abrigos with its many restaurants is about a 15 minute drive. Highly recommended...

Enjoy many relaxing moments on the Balcony observing the golfers and watching the golden sun set in the West

A great place to stay

We had a wonderful holiday based in this apartment. It is spacious and has the most fantastic views from both sides. Having stayed in this area many times, this is undoubtedly the best apartment we have found. Some areas of the decor are a bit tired and parking can be tricky, but this didn't stop our enjoyment at all. Many thanks to the owners and their neighbour. We will be going back!

Wonderful apartment

We have stayed in this apartment many times..since 2011,sometimes just the 2 of us and sometimes with family. There is plenty of room, 2 comfortable bedrooms with a beautiful terrace adjoining both bedrooms, an upper floor with a very well equipped kitchen ( my husband is a great cook and has everything he needs right there), a comfortable lounge area overlooking the golf course, and some of the most beautiful views from this upper floor towards the marina, the golf course and Teide as there are 2 balconies on this level as well.. The apartment is spacious, has absolutely everything you might need,is very clean and is excellent value. The area is quiet and there is a restaurant/Irish pub nearby and a small supermarket within walking distance.We love it and will definitely come back. Kymme who lives next door is soooo helpful and right there if you need anything.

There are stairs ,obviously, as it is a duplex apartment, but the higher you go the better the views!!!An excellent apartment.

Our best kept secret

My wife and I have just spent nine weeks in this lovely apartment for the second successive year and have reserved it again for the beginning of 2017. Whilst there, we usually invite friends and family to stay with us for varying amounts of time and they all exclaim what a perfect location it is for relaxing comfortably. Its lounge /kitchen is very spacious, bright and airy with tasteful light blue curtains and extremely comfortable settees. Its lack of modernity is acceptable as it is always neat and tidy and is well surpassed by the outstanding view one can enjoy on both west and east balconies. For the price of the rent, one cannot complain about little details which do not prevent you from enjoying your stay. Its position also offers quiet and privacy which is rare and invaluable in Tenerife. Hiring a car allows you to use 2 large supermarkets, an excellent greengrocer and the local vegetable/fruit market all very close. Without a car, it is quite easy to hire a taxi from less than 300 metres away. This apartment is our best kept secret. It is exactly as you see in the photographs and all the detailed explanations relating to it, access and local facilities are completely accurate. The local restaurant/bar is successful and as such, you would expect to book for an evening meal, certainly a good sign I think! The apartment is always clean and well prepared and more than adequate amounts of towels and bed linen are provided. Being advertised as self-catering, it is well equipped with all that you require and more.

We consider we are well qualified to comment on this apartment as 3 and 4 years ago we stayed within the same set of buildings. One apartment was adequate but the views were restricted and the second one was so bad I spent every evening cleaning for two weeks after complaining to the local representative without much success.

Holidaying in Tenerife is no different to anywhere else in Europe; when enjoying markets, shopping and restaurants, you have to be alert and on your guard against those who would prefer to take advantage. Likewise, if you are self-catering you must expect to be self-reliant and be confident that whatever circumstances arise, you can handle the situation and not expect others to assist. If in doubt stay in a hotel where you are ‘cared for’.

the property is spacious, the views are spectacular & the TV is great, after that one can only say it is not so good. From street level to the property entrance there is a series of 29 steps, on entering the property the first thing one notices is the unpleasant smell from the downstairs bathroom, evidently this is not a fault in the property but a location problem, indeed some owners owners have not let their properties this year for this reason. The property is tired and in need of complete upgrade particularly the bathrooms, I didn't like using them. In one of the bedrooms the curtains are held together with an adhesive tape. I would think that the property is pretty much as it was when built. The outdoor furniture is past it's best, there are no pads for the sun loungers [ Kymme next door kindly loaned us 2 of hers].

Unless you are an avid walker a car is necessary for this location, there is no public transport until you get into Golf de Sur, a 15 minute walk.

The Aries pub/restaurant is quite good but you do need to book for evening meals.

Owner's Response: We have been listed with Homeaway since 2011. We have never received a negative review from any of our former Guests. Our occupancy is always more than satisfactory and we are extremely disappointed that Homeaway did not check with us before posting such an exaggerated negative comment on our Property. Had they to check with us we would have informed them that this elderly Couple were advised by both Website and ourselves (through email) that the Apt was unsuitable for Elderly Persons. They insisted on Booking in any case. Our Representative would say that they had complaints on a daily basis on various matters. Their experience as a whole was not helped by the fact that they had their wallet stolen during their vacation. We had never requested our Guests to review in the past, as we were confident that we were offering good value for holidaymakers. We will in the future, request our Guests to review our Property in an honest and sensible fashion. Sincerely, The Owners.

Confortable departamento con vistas impagables

Hemos viajado a Tenerife despues de la Pascua con nuestros cuatro niños.

El departamento de Gerry y Mary es muy amplio y comodo. Las vistas son increibles. El departamento es muy sencillo (sin lujos) pero tiene todo lo necesario para unas lindisimas vacaciones de playa relajadas.

Es recomendable alquilar un coche ya que la zona es puramente residencial (con pocos negocios y un pub).

El complejo de apartamentos es muy tranquilo y la piscina muy agradable y resguardada del viento (aunque el agua no estaba climatizada).

Lo que se podria mejorar en el departamento es instalar una ducha un poco mejor (abajo) ya que la actual no es muy buena debido al caudal del agua.

Gerry ha sido muy atento desde el principio y nos ha proporcionado un descuento para nuestra estadia. Llegamos muy tarde y no hubo problema para hacer el check in (muy simple). Kimmy (la vecina) ha sido muy atenta a nuestra llegada.

Definitivamente lo recomendamos si desea ir a un lugar tranquilo, sencillo, economico pero sin esperar grandes detalles o lujos.

Esperamos volver algun dia.

Schöner, ruhiger Ausgangspunkt für Inseltouren

Die Wohnung punktet durch ihre Größe und die tolle Aussicht auf die gepflegte Gartenanlage und den Golfplatz sowie die schönen Balkone.

Auch die Poolanlage ist sehr sauber, wenig frequentiert, sehr nah und nur für die Bewohner der Anlage zugänglich.

In der Aries Bar gibt's günstiges, gutes Essen und Unterhaltungsprogramm, viel irisches Publikum. (Keine Lärmbelästigung im Apartment; dort ist es wirklich ruhig).

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt; ein Auto ist von Vorteil.

Wir würden die Wohnung wieder buchen.

As the Name suggests there are 2 superb Golf Courses within walking distance of the Apartment. Shops and restaurants are nearby. The Apt is located approx 150 metres from the Sea and can be seen from 2 of the 3 balconies. The nearest Sandy Beach is Medano which is about 20 minutes Drive. Medano is famous for its Windsurfing and Kite flying.

Los Cristianos is within 30 minutes and has the famous Sunday Market for all your Shopping requirements !! Taxis are available for hire in the village and there is also a Bus Service available.

There are superb coastline walks adjacent to the Apartment, and it also overlooks the newest Yachting Marina in Tenerife.

Golf: Both Amarilla and Golf del Sur Golf Courses cater for Green Fees. However the best rates may be obtained through the local golf shops who have preferential Rates and must be booked in advance.

Golf del Sur has (3x9) 27 Holes and your Game is usually a combination of any 2 of 3. It is a lovely Course and you are guaranteed to want to challenge again & again !! Amarilla is also a very challenging Course with its famous Par 3 Fifth hole (which incidentally can be seen from the Golfside Balcony) which never plays the same, and you always feel a sense of relief if you still have the Ball you drove off this daunting Tee Box. A par here will have you considering a Pro Career !!

There are at least 6 other Golf Courses on the Island, all within an hours drive.
