Transport and Facilities: 'The Reach' is a 5 min walk from the local rail and even closer to bus stops. Taxi's are available outside the door and if you have your own vehicle, under cover, secure 2 car accommodation is available at no extra charge.
The apartment is fitted with a security system enabling video identification of visitors and is serviced by lifts. The apartment is very suitable for disabled access. The apartment is fully air-conditioned.
The fabulous Gold Coast is a one hour drive away or can also be reached by train or bus. Facilities (apart from the fabulous beaches) such as Seaworld, Dreamworld and Jupiters Casino are there for you ultimate enjoyment. Brisbane hospitals are 10 minutes by car.
We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was clean and very well equipped. It was as we expected from the description and photos in the listing - spacious, comfortable , luxurious and homely. The highlights of the apartment include the balcony with barbecue, the comfortable beds, well equipped bathrooms and the open plan kitchen and living room. Another bonus is the communal swimming pool and gym - we'll kept and great if you want to stay active!
the location as perfect for us - a 5 minutes walk to either train or bus (into central Brisbane in 20 minutes) and easily accessible by car - we travelled easily to both the north and south.
We have found the owner Annette extremely helpful and I would urge anyone planning a trip to Brisbane to consider staying here - you won't regret it.
We stayed at this appartment for 18 nights, we are a family of 4 adults. The appartment was amazing with so much space and fabulous views. The furnishings are of high quality and it has everything you need for self catering. The location is perfect only 10 mins into the city with shops and eateries minutes away. We loved having a BBQ on the huge terrace overlooking the river before going into the city. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend. Annette was great to deal with and made booking so easy from the UK.

I stayed for two weeks in this absolutely lovely condo with my parents and young daughter. I came to Brisbane to attend a week-long convention while my parents took care of my child. There was plenty to keep my child entertained what with two outdoor pools (one directly outside the condo and the other a short walk away), a beautiful playground (a very short walk away), and the river to walk along (directly outside the condo). We rented a car and were able to get groceries easily; there were a few shopping centres down the road. The underground parking lot is secured; we always felt safe. At a leisurely pace, the train station is a little less than 10 minutes away. It was VERY convenient in terms of getting into the city. We sometimes drove downtown and that was also very easy. The condo itself has all the amenities of home: towels, dishtowels, cooking utensils, body soap, etc. Do bring your own shampoo and conditioner and if you plan on a lot of cooking, you'll need to buy some basic supplies. Annette greeted us in the outside parking lot, showed us around, and answered our questions. She kindly gifted us some cookies and a bottle of wine as well. Thank you! All in all, I'd rather live in this condo than the one I am in now! It's so spacious, quiet, and the views are just spectacular. No complaints. If I ever come to Brisbane again, I hope I can stay here again. The photos you see are what you get - no surprises. I highly recommend staying here!
We loved our stay at both of Annette's properties. "The Reach" & "The Beresford" in Tennyson across from the Patrick Rafter Tennis Stadium. What a great location! The views were beautiful and property was upscale. Words and pictures don't describe how wonderful it was. There is nothing negative to report and Annette is a lovely lady! I hope to see her again and stay at her awesome properties.
Nice, quiet location. A great place to "come home to". Well-maintained with a great view of the Brisbane River. Annette and her husband were very easy to deal with and also very helpful. The Buzz Cafe which is located on the property has great coffee/food and exceptional service.
I would recommend this apartment to any executive needing short term accommodations.
