Panoramic Sagrada Familia 2:
The Centric Sagrada Familia neighborhood of Barcelona forms part of the Eixample of Barcelona and it is a relaxing residential area of the city. The wonderful temple of the Sagrada Familia, masterwork of the modernist architect Antoni Gaudí is located absolutely in front to our building. Likewise, just 100m around our place is plenty of services that makes our apartments a perfect option for a comfortable vacation stay in Barcelona.
This comfortable 65M² apartment is situated on the second floor (level 3). This building has no lift to access to the apartment. Stairs are easy to walk up and our reception staff will take care of your luggage up and down. Apartment has four balconies (two in the bedrooms and two at living room) something that it is unique in the city, making the apartment extremely luminous.
You also have access to an incredible 130M² private terrace/solarium in the top of the building. Garden pots decorated with Gaudí style mosaic make it very pleasant. It is equipped with table, chaise lounges and big parasols and exterior lights. Perfect for having breakfast, lunch or dinner enjoying the most privileged view of the Cathedral, which is lit up until the night. Furthermore, the terrace is also equipped with plugs for electrical devices.

Fantastic

It was a great location with stunning views of sagrada famillia and great access to the metro and hop on and off bus. It has a lovely roof top terrace that you have access to which gives you 360 view of Barcelona which is lovely day and night. All the staff were really helpful which was great.

What a view!

We had a wonderful stay in Gaudi's Nest. The views from the apartment and from the roof terrace made the climb up the stairs more than worthwhile and the location is perfect for exploring Barcelona on foot. We walked north to Parc Guell, south to the port and many points in between! We were very glad that we booked the offered taxi service from and to the airport. Thank you Carlos for meeting us and giving us such a lovely introduction to the apartment and to Barcelona. Thank you also to Arturo for telling us about the Catalan paella served in his restaurant next door to Gaudi's Nest. The food was excellent, our two hosts very friendly and efficient, and with a view of the Sagrada Familia. It was a lovely way to spend our last evening. The apartment was as listed and was clean, warm and comfortable. The only problem we had was with the shower in the bath. The bath is very slippery and would benefit from a non-slip bath mat. Everyone we met at Gaudi's Nest was very friendly and helpful and our lack of Spanish was never a problem. I would come back here if we visit Barcelona again and would highly recommend it.

REVIEW WRITING IS TOO MUCH REQUIREMENT

REVIEWS ARE TOO TIME CONSUMING AND SHOULD BE SIMPLER, BUT REGARDLESS THIS WAS A GREAT PLACE AND THANK ARTUR FOR HIS HELP AND APARTMENT. STAIRS ARE KNACKERING WHEN DISABLED BUT WELL WORTH THE VIEW.

Fantastic area, amazing view, wonderful host!

What a perfect place to stay in Barcelona for 9 nights! We could not have had better hosts--or a better view of the amazing Gaudi Sagrada Familia Cathedral across the street. My girlfriend from Australia (with her 20-yr-old daughter) and I (from Florida) have met up around the world for years, but our favorite vacation so far is beautiful Barcelona because we stayed in this cute, convenient apartment under the expert care of Arturo. He and his staff were so available and helpful before, during, and after our stay....perfect airport pick up and drop off, plus something I left behind in the master bedroom was mailed to the US immediately. The apt is in a great location just north of the city center...we were able to live and shop like locals, walk in so many lovely directions, catch the clean, efficient Metro just steps away, and return every night to admire the Gaudi cathedral lights across the park. It's really easy to get to Las Ramblas and the beaches and everywhere else in the Barcelona area by Metro from the apt...no need to stay in the middle of noise and traffic. Buy a Metro pass that's good for a number of trips, and your whole party can use the same ticket. Spend lots of time walking in the winding streets and alleys of the Gothic Quarter, the Old City, Park Guell, the port. We enjoyed the aquarium, all the museums and cathedrals, tapas bars, shopping, and a side trip by train to the mountain monastery in Montserrat. There are so many things to do. It was hard to leave our Barcelona home-away-from-home... I'd return in a minute. My girlfriend and I highly recommend that you do not hesitate booking with Arturo and Joana for your vacation.
