Luxury one bedroom apartment with kitchen in the heart of South Beach. Wi-Fi and hi speed broadband are provided free of charge. Located in The Carlyle an iconic Art Deco building at 1250 Ocean Drive. The Carlyle has featured in movies such as Scarface & The Birdcage and was recently refurbished to a high standard. There's a front desk which is staffed at all times. This stunning self-catering luxury apartment is 965sq ft and beautifully furnished with designer furniture and a clean contemporary look. The well equipped kitchen includes a range of stainless steel integrated appliances,washer & dryer. There's a dining area that seats four. The spacious bedroom features a luxurious king size bed with matching nightstand's, blackout blinds and a large Californian closet. The bathroom has twin sinks, bidet and a massive walk in shower. The living space includes a sofa, armchair, pouf, coffee table, a Sony Smart TV with over 90 cable channels including HBO and Showtime and access to Netflix etc, Wi-Fi and fast broadband connection. The air conditioning is excellent & quiet.

Fantastic apartment in a great location

Spacious, clean, well equipped and ideally situated. This apartment is exactly as advertised. Mark, the owner is great to work with and the desk staff in the building are friendly and helpful. Lillian, in particular, is an absolute gem. Would absolutely stay here again when next in Miami.

Disappointed

Owner runs a questionable business. Charged me for items that he claims I damaged but did not. A supposed stain on a pillowcase and marks on towels that were there before I arrived. Unscrupulous, shady behavior.

Owner's Response: This guest is a liar and her review is an insult and a disgrace. I stayed a week at the apartment before the guest arrived and replaced all the bathroom towels with brand new dark brown towels. These were washed twice to remove the lint and were in perfect condition. After the guest checked out two of the towels were found by the cleaner on the bathroom floor covered in hydrogen peroxide stains. They were completely ruined and had to be replaced. A bottle of hydrogen peroxide was found in the trash. Instead of doing the right thing and accepting responsibility for the damage to the new towels the guest had the audacity to claim they were in bad condition when she arrived and they were old and dingy. A stain was also found on a pillowcase. This stain could not be removed and the pillowcase had to be replaced. The guest was charged the cost price to replace the towels and pillowcase, $54.76, and was sent a receipt. As with all our guests we try to make sure they have a good experience and enjoy their stay. For this guest we even allowed them to check in a couple of hours early and to checkout an hour late for no extra charge. The guest sent me this message as she left "We enjoyed our stay! Thank you for being so accommodating". This is the complete opposite of the review she has now posted. This guest has shown her true colors with this review. Not only is she dishonest, she is clearly a vindictive and spiteful person who disrespected our place and our hospitality. This guest has been banned from ever staying again and I would strongly advise all other owners and advertisers on Homeaway/VRBO to do the same and avoid her.

In a quiet central location at 1250 Ocean Drive, South Beach Miami. All the attractions of South Beach are within a short walking distance of The Carlyle whether you are interested in the beach, superb restaurants, trendy bars & clubs, designer shopping, the beautiful Art Deco architecture or just people watching there is always something to do in South Beach. The Carlyle is a block away from the famous Versace Mansion and The Setai, Shore Club, Delano, W South Beach and Nikki Beach are all nearby. Vibrant Lincoln Road with its restaurants, galleries, theatres and upmarket boutiques is easily accessible as is The Miami Beach Convention Center which hosts Art Basel and the Miami Intl Boat show. A car is not essential but reasonably priced parking is available less than 40 yards away. It is a short drive to the Port of Miami, Downtown, championship golf courses & to the shopping malls of Bal Harbor & Aventura.

Other Activities: the beach, gym, designer shopping, restaurants, bars, clubs, cinema, Miami Beach convention center.
