Our stay in this home was incredibly delightful. The home is so beautiful. We love its Spanish style and the location made it so close to Old Town, Coronado, Harbor Island, Seaport Village. It was so incredibly delightful to be able to celebrate our 44th Wedding anniversary at this beautiful place. Shannon was most helpful as well.
Gem located near everything
This house was the perfect base for our family vacation. The neighborhood was safe and quaint and was close to every hot spot in San Diego. The house is situated on top of a hill and the views are spectacular. We watched the July 4th fireworks over the bay right from the back patio. The kitchen and bathrooms are updated and the living room sofa was huge and comfortable. The hot tub was a plus and my kids loved it. It was nice having a garage with a working garage door opener. Shannon was quick to respond to any questions we had. There aren't many downsides to this house, but one small issue is that one of the showers is a clawfoot tub with a curtain around it, so we all showered in the second bathroom which had a nice walk in. (By the way the water pressure in this house is great). The decor is creative but could be improved with some newer bedspreads and curtains (a minor point of course). Overall, I would recommend this property and would stay here again.!
Perfectly located for a San Diego vacation
If you can't afford beachfront, but want to be close to everything San Diego has to offer, this property is perfect. Minutes, literally, to downtown, to the airport, to SeaWorld, the beaches, the bases and to great local restaurants. The house is eclectic and artistic and has a lovely back patio and hot tub available for your use. The owner was available, very nice and instantly responsive to any questions or needs. The area is a bit loud because of the freeway and the airport, but locals seem to accept this as part of living there. Pretty much anything facing the bay has this issue. Close the windows and you won't hear a thing, but those ocean breezes are lovely, so we kept them open.
Property is located in a very nice and very quiet neighborhood. Easy access to Hillcrest, Harbor Island & beaches. The owner was responsive to any requests; minor repairs were made within 24 hours. The backyard provides a nice view of Harbor Island & the airport. We especially appreciated that we could bring our dog without any additional deposit or having to worry about a size limit, since he’s a big dog. We enjoyed walking him in the neighborhood.
One minor inconvenience: no laundry detergent.
Nice home for a family to stay in
very nice home and close to beaches
Property is a nice, decent, open space. Disappointed that we could not utilize the spa as it was green and had bugs in the bottom; however the fire pit is a nice touch, a great sitting spot for morning coffee or evening marshmallows. the grill made out door cooking convenient. The neighborhood is "quiet" and what i mean by quiet is, not a whole lot of activity from neighbors or random people walking down the street. there is noise from the train, freeway and airport, but it's livable. the view of the bay area is nice while sitting around the fire pit or while preparing food in the kitchen. Our itinerary was in close proximity to location. The Mexican restaurant down the street was excellent. The garage is a nice deep garage but very narrow; my F150 barely fit with mirrors folded in, if you drive a large vehicle, beware that parking in the garage may not be feasible. Owner was easy to work with and provided clear instructions. over all was a nice experience and would stay there again
