3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, Sleeps 8
December 2018 Stay
This cabin was comfortable for all of us! The kitchen was well furnished with dishes & appliances. The wood stove was wonderful. Every room had a television with Dish and a floor heater. There were plenty of towels & pillows & blankets. There was WIFI. The house was filled with any extras you may need: table, chairs.
Nice neighborhood. Clean house Few cob webs but other than that it is a nice place.
Nice clean property.
We love Colorado!
It was so nice to get to the cool mountains and spend some time with family during the heat of summer! We love this cabin, it had everything we needed to cook and was very neat with all the elk and deer mounts - great windows and just 7 miles (15 minutes) from Pagosa Springs. We were surprised to find that the cabin is actually part of a developing area, so there are houses all around it (except for the back - it sits close to a fenced off national forest). But it was pretty quiet, not much traffic or other folks around - and we were up in the mountains for the most part, and just spending the night here. But if you are wanting something secluded, this cabin is not that choice. The photos must have been taken right after it was built - one house to the right of the cabin is probably only 30 feet away. So when you open the blinds on the windows, you see other houses, and the mountains in the distance. Most houses have young trees planted around them - aspen, spruce, pine - so in a few years when those mature, I suspect that each house / cabin will seem a little more secluded - its just a new developing neighborhood, so it does look new. If you are ok with that, this place is a great stay, and we are so grateful to the owners for sharing this little get-away with us! There was lots of hot water (there were 7 of us staying here), the windows provided ample ventilation for cooling the house (there is no a/c, but it was not needed), and there is a nice little wood stove that we used on the coldest evening - great showers etc!
Great place to stay!
THANK YOU, please come back!!
Clean and beautiful
The neighbors dogs came over to the cabin a few times, but it was okay, they were very friendly dogs. The neighbor was also throwing their trash in our trash barrel, which we didn't appreciate, because we didn't want to leave trash bags in the cabin for house keeping. But our overall stay was very nice and relaxing. No complaints with the cabin itself. The cabin felt like home and it was very well kept and beautiful. Hatcher lake was very close, with awesome fishing. Our weekend was very enjoyable! Thank you!
August 2016 Stay
we had an amazing trip and loved every second of our stay. The view from the every window and especially the porch all gorgeous it even snowed in the mountains while we were there. such a beautiful place to get away to.
This house backs to national forest, where you can walk for miles, 1/2 miles down N. Pagosa Blvd. great place to ride your mountain bike out into the national forest on hiking and biking trails, good location.
