Nice little getaway. Quiet and nice area. Smooth process and all the amenities you could ask for.

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our quick getaway to the cabin. It's a nice wooded area which can be hard to come by at times. The cabin was well maintained and had everything you need. The stove works great though we did not use it a lot since it was warm. It's near a small mountain range we've visited MANY times that you can go and hike, practice safe shooting if you're into that, ATV'ng in areas, and so forth. There's fishing in the reservoirs not far away where you can get some good fishing in. I've always like that area and the location works well for us. It was easy to get to there and no big deal getting the keys and such which is nice so you are spending a lot of time on that.

We left quite happy, and the dog run is a great idea and great if you need to let your dog have some privacy and easy clean up later if you know what I mean. I hope that she can keep the rate where she does as it's a good deal. Especially for couples. I even caught my football team on her TV which is nice. It's a cozy getaway and we were very happy.

loved our stay here

  • 5 of 5

This place is great. Totally quiet, but super close to the main road, making it easy to explore the area. The bed is really comfortable, and the hot tub is great, but what I couldn't stop commenting on to my husband, was the cleanliness of the cabin. Seriously, it was immaculate. This was especially wonderful, since we had a 14-month old with us who likes to eat things off of the floor. Our dog enjoyed sun bathing in the yard and while she is normally jumpy and anxious when traveling, it was so quiet here that she snoozed all day every day without barking once.

Relaxing Stay in a Beautiful Location

  • 5 of 5

This is a cozy cabin in a beautiful spot. We enjoyed being surrounded by pine trees and listening to the wind in the trees while relaxing on the front porch or in the hot tub. The dog run was a nice feature and made it easy bringing our pup along. There's a nice walk down to a pretty lake nearby. We enjoyed lighting a fire in the stove on a rainy evening.

Everything was very clean and well maintained. There were lots of kitchen supplies which made it easy to prepare all of our meals there.

I'd highly recommend staying if you're looking for a quiet get-away!

Amazing week!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great week at the Big Foot Trail Cabin. We originally planned on only staying 6 days but Jody graciously added another day as we wanted to extend our visit to Colorado. My husband and I took our two children and their friend. The scenery is just beautiful as is the wildlife you see periodically. We cooked and slept at the cabin but other than that we ventured out. We visited Colorado Springs and drove up to Mount Evans. The cabin housed us comfortably. We used the hot tub once but only because we spent most of our time out and about (if we didn't have the kids with us we would have utilized it more probably ;) ). Jody did a wonderful job ensuring our needs were met while staying on her property. The cabin is supplied with most items you would have at home. Due to us having such a large party we did have to go to the laundry mat a couple of times to wash towels etc, but nothing we wouldn't have done anywhere else. It was nice that the kids couldn't be on their phones the whole time as well!! We will definitely be visiting again!! Thank you again Jody for the wonderful week!! Love, The Peters family
