The Caretaker’s Cottage is a great place to stay if you love the outdoors. This lovely holiday home, lovingly restored to a very high standard, is situated on a historic country house estate close to Snowdonia National Park, giving you access to 14 acres of private parkland grounds as well as a magical Victorian kitchen garden. The cottage is just a short stroll from the main house which is home to an impressive art gallery and coffee shop open during the day and serving lunches. The Caretaker’s Cottage is perfect for four but can sleep up to six people with the sofa bed easy to pull out and make for a comfortable double.
From here you are just two miles from Betws-y-Coed, gateway to Snowdonia National Park and the starting point of many fabulous walks. These include forest rambles and riverside trails that take in wonderful waterfalls, including Conwy Falls and Swallow Falls. Further into Snowdonia, the picture-postcard village of Beddgelert is well worth a visit, as is Llanberis at the foot of Snowdon, the highest mountain in England and Wales. Whatever you decide to do, The Caretaker’s Cottage is in a great location to make for an exciting or a relaxing holiday.
