really happy with our stay at bedrock lodge. The house is beautiful and the little details the owners included really helped make the hen party extra special.

Angeline and John were so lovely and were happy to help in anyway possible. The area is gorgeous and all the rooms were at a high standard. Would recommend to anyone, especially at such a reasonable price!

Thank you so much for an amazing weekend.

Big house full of character!

  • 5 of 5

This is a house that would suit any occasion. We were a stag group of 14 chaps who had a lot of fun in its many rooms and especially the new hot tub and sauna. We loved the nice touch of leaving stag-themed bunting in the living room also.

John and Angeline were very helpful and attentive hosts and always made themselves available when we needed help or advice.

I would strongly recommend this property for any large groups of any age looking for a spacious stay in a quaint community with quick taxi access down into the city.

Kind regards,

Perfect for a large group

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at Bedrock Lodge for a hen do. The girls had great fun in the hot tub, and the lounge was big enough to gather and play lots of games. There were spaces to disappear for some peace and quiet if we wanted, but I don't actually think they were used! We loved the special touches too and attention to detail, and our hosts were lovely. Thank you for a great weekend.

Absolutely amazing !

  • 5 of 5

We had an amazing time !

We went on a hen do with 9 ladies and 11 children and had a total blast ! We were supplied with all the supplies in the kitchen and the bathrooms. We all enjoyed the hot tub, kept clean as well as the sauna - fab ! The house was clean and tidy with the inviting log fire - can’t fault anything on the houses facilities ! Kitchen supplies were all to hand in terms of cutlery and crockery as well as pots and pans !

We are muslims women and they also accommodated for that by supplying us with non alcoholic bubbly ! A lovely touch with my gift as bride to be ! 5 stars all around !! Local shops are close by as well as well as motorway links - perfect location. Will recommend for sure!

Book it and don’t hesitate !

Keep up the good work !

Spacious house in a beautiful rural and quiet location

  • 4 of 5

We had a wonderful New Year break with some of our extended family at Bedrock House. The house was in a beautiful rural and quiet location. Angie and John were fantastic friendly and family orientated hosts, always at the other end of the phone if we needed anything and even spoilt us with New Year treats.

The house was a fantastic size to cater for 8 children and 7 adults. We even had another 2 adults and 3 children join us for one night and there was still plenty of space. We particularly loved that there was enough seating and table space for us all to eat together at meal times. The kitchen was well equipped, the bedrooms were very lovely and homely, Angie and John had even kindly provided spare toiletries. We had great days out around Bristol visiting Lacock, Dyrham Park, Tyntesfield Park and a magical snowy play in the fields in Chipping Sodbury. Thank you John and Angie.
