Overlooking the city centre from the west side of town

Dunvegan house is a newly built spacious family house located on the west side of Inverness in an elevated position on Leachkin hill. Around a 10 minute drive or 40 minute walk from the city centre the house will suit those looking for quality accommodation in the city in a quiet location.

It is advisable to have your own car when staying at Dunvegan house although there is a very good regular bus route to and from the city centre.

Dunvegan house was newly built to a very standard in 2017 and has been furnished and decorated by local interior designers to a very high standard.

The house is over 3 floors. The ground floor has an open plan family snug lounge/kitchen and dining area that comfortably accommodates 7 guests.

The kitchen has a gas hob, double electric oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, toaster, electric kettle, microwave oven and plenty kitchenware should you wish to dine in. The snug lounge area has a large corner settee, arm chair and TV with Freeview. There is a patio door giving access to the grassed back garden which is fenced to give added security for guests staying with children.

The house has a 2 further lounge areas, the ground floor lounge is a more formal area with ample seating, smart TV and electric fire.

There is a cloakroom on the ground floor with toilet and wash hand basin.

The utility room has a washing machine and tumble dryer and plenty space for drying and storing wet clothing, bikes or outdoor equipment.

First floor: the bedrooms are all on the first floor. There is a very spacious master bedroom with king size bed, plenty clothes storage and en suite shower room. There is a double bedroom, twin bedroom and childrens bedroom with single bed. There is plenty room for storing clothes.

There is a family bathroom with bath, separate shower cubicle, wash hand basin and toilet.

Second floor: This floor has a good sized lounge with settee, 2 arm chairs and smart TV with Freeview. There is a study work area on the landing at the top of the stairs.

There is off-street parking in front of the house for 2 cars and a back garden accessed from patio doors from the snug lounge. The back garden is fenced and secure.

30% of the total rental is charged on the day of booking to confirm your booking with the final 70% due no later than 14 days before arrival. There is a 24-hour cooling off period after your booking is placed where you may cancel free of charge after that you will be required to pay the full rental amount if you cancel.

The house has Wi-Fi at no extra cost.

There is central heating throughout the house.

Sorry no dogs.

Bookings are a minimum stay of 3 nights except during July and August where minimum stay is 4 nights.

Booster seat/ high chair and travel coot at no extra cost.

There is a stairgate at the top of the stairs for the loft lounge.

Check-in time is 3PM - 10PM. Check-out time is 10AM.
