The White House is a grand house built in the 1920s, full of character and was one of the first houses to be built in this area of the village. There are incredible views of the village and harbour, and the property is surrounded by sizeable, mature gardens with a large lawned area. The house itself has some magnificent mahogany features, Italian styled bathroom suites, high ceilings and wide corridors. Imagine an evening glass of wine, sitting on the balcony, with those amazing views and the sun drifting down over St Mawes Castle, the light glistening across St Mawes bay and yachts at anchor.
The White House has spectacular views over St Mawes harbour and across the Fal to Pendennis Castle. The ever popular Summers beach is a mere 50m in front of the property. It is also an ideal location for those getting out onto the water as it is just a 5 minute walk to either the St Mawes Sailing Club Quay, Freshwater Boatyard or Polvarth with all their launching facilities. St Mawes is one of Cornwall's most desirable holiday destinations and the stunning harbour, surrounded by lovely local shops, restaurants, bars and hotels is a constant bustle of vibrancy during the season. There are ferry links from the harbour to St Anthony, Falmouth, Trelissick and Malpas. During the winter it is a quiet, peaceful village that rarely sees frosts or snow.

The kitchen diner has seating for 10, fully fitted cupboards and work surfaces, sea views and doors to the main corridor along the rear of the building and also to the main living room. Heating is oil central heating. The kitchen has a range of equipment. There is an electric oven and hob. There is a toaster, kettle, microwave, large fridge and dishwasher. There are TVs in both living rooms and a BT Youview box. The utility room has a separate washing machine, tumble dryer and tower and chest freezer. There is an iron & ironing board. There is a cot and high chair.
Electricity, heating and bed linen are all included but you will need to provide your OWN TOWELS and beach towels. There are parking facilities for at least 4 vehicles. Unlimited WiFi is available. Regrettably no smoking. Up to 2 medium sized, well behaved dogs will be permitted at a small additional cost of £30 per dog per week, although please remember that you cannot leave dogs unattended in the property alone.
