About the property

Our large windows look onto George Square in the heart of Glasgow's City Centre. Perfectly located for a Romantic break, Business, University or Shopping trip. Scott House is situated in the Merchant City amongst amazing architecture, famous restaurants and designer shops such as Boss, Armani and The Italian Centre. Everything you need is seconds from our door - Shopping Centres, Celebrity Restaurants, Authentic Pubs, Clubs, Casinos, Theatre, Museum, Tourist, Transport links and much much more.

You have access to our full central, comfortable, modern 1 bedroom apt. Enter from the front or back security entrance. We are situated on the 1st floor of Scott House just off George Square., accessed via lift or stairs it offers a warm, safe stay in the heart Glasgow's Merchant city centre. Security entrance & buzzer. Everything has been done to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The interior has been recently refurbished - giving a grace and elegance appropriate to this landmark building designed and built by William Simpson in 1814. We have also added our own personal touches around the house to give you the simplicity of a hotel but with all the comforts of home.

The living room is bright and spacious with high ceilings and 3 large original sash windows which light up the room. There's plenty of room to relax, eat, cook, watch TV or listen to music. There is a 42” Smart TV and you'll find a selection of books. There's a USB plug in the table drawer in case you need it and plenty of cushions and throws. So please feel free to get comfy and put your feet up. Individual electric wall heaters in every room let you quickly warm up and can be easily adjusted to the temperature that suits you.

The kitchen has everything you'll need: dishwasher, electric cooker, combined oven/grill, microwave, washer/drier and a fridge with a small freezer compartment. There's plenty of cups, mugs, crockery, glasses and other utensils so you can use whatever you like and just pop it in the dishwasher.

Help yourself to a range of herbs, spices, oils etc. If you're planning to cook you should only need to buy main ingredients. There's a range of tea bags and coffee. Please help yourself to muesli, porridge and cornflakes.

Access to our entire flat , wifi , TV and Glasgow City centre, right on your door step. If required we can also offer secure underground parking in our other city centre apartment, just 5 minutes away, please let us know on request.

About Maria

Ciao , my name is Maria and I have been living and working in Glasgow since leaving S.Italy almost 17 years ago. My husband is a DJ / Musician from Glasgow and we are both very proud of our city and lovely new apartments. We both enjoy family life , cooking , up cycling , music, travelling and a wide range of sports.

In January 2017 I left my job in sales to manage my three apartments in Airbnb 24/7 and to help all our guest have the the best time possible staying in our favourite city.

This clean, bright flat couldn’t have been handier to everything!

There was a bit of confusion over us using the pullout bed, but Maria made it right.

This is a very secure flat and female travellers will feel very safe here.
