Fontebenedetta is a structure located in a very strategic area of Siena for those who want to be close to all the city's facilities and enjoy a lovely agrarian park at the same time, where you can enjoy moments of total relaxation and peace.
Fontebenedetta is a restored 19th-century complex set in a dominant position on a panoramic hill overlooking Siena and the Osservanza Basilica (15th century). It was built near an ancient natural source of water that probably has its place name.
The whole property has a total surface area of 5 hectares and the park develops along the ridge of the hill to the east of Siena. The entrance to a pebble courtyard, ennobled by the old well still working in brick and wrought iron and a niche of secular cypresses, continues in a pleasant green path, bordered by the vineyard and an olive grove of over 300 trees.
At the end of this journey you will reach a pretty holm oak grove, originally "birdie" of the complex, where the noble owner loved to make the mail to the birds to catch them alive by traps, nets and panies.
