House was perfect for week sharing with brother and sister in law over from the States.
Absolutely everything needed was provided in a very homely environment. We all loved the wood stove and the views across the river are magnificent A total joy with comfortable beds and lovely bedding. We all want to come back hopefully with grandchildren to continue exploring beautiful coast and eat again at Instow Arms and coffee at Johns. A great holiday and Rose was very thoughtful with leaving firewood and goodies.
Thank you Ann for your kind words and for being perfect guests.
The house is lovely and light, and when shared with extended family, allows you all to have space. All the rooms are well equipped and the ones lucky enough to have sea views are great. Kitchen well equipped. Rear terrace is a sheltered sun trap. We would definitely stay again, and would recommend to anyone
Great property, spacious, clean and great location. Owner really helpful.
Brilliant property, lovely house and location. Would recommend it. Had a lovely time.
Impressive House and View!
The house was perfect, it had everything we needed for our stay, and was much bigger and brighter than what it looks like in the photos. Rose was a massive help on what to do and where to go. What a fantastic village Instow is and a beautiful part of the world. Would highly recommend Westfield House.
Lovely house in great location
We stayed in the house just after Christmas. Rose sent us very clear directions and instructions for getting in so we arrived without hitch. The house was fantastic and seemed larger than the photos showed. We found everything we needed in the kitchen and used the fire in the living room every evening. We had a group including two couples, a child and an additional adult and found that the house had plenty of space for us to gather together or to do our own thing in different nooks or rooms. The house was stocked with plenty of DVDs, books and jigsaws which was a nice touch and kept us occupied on rainy days! Being located right in Instow meant we were easy walking distance from a small shop, lovely pubs and the Tarka trail walk. We were also just a short drive from Westward Ho beach which was lovely. We had a fantastic time and would definitely stay here again.
