Welcoming private space in an annexe to a family home. Flintways is clean, fresh, modern and comfortable. It has been recently refurbished and designed to be calm and relaxing providing all you need for a short break in Cornwall. You have a parking space outside and your own private entrance accessed via a key safe but we are on hand if you need anything. Bedroom:- There is a double bed, thick rugs and blackout blinds. For storage there is a clothes rail and drawers for your use along with coat hooks and a drying rack. A hairdryer is provided and an iron and board can be borrowed on request. The room is heated by an independent electric radiator which can be adjusted for comfort. Bathroom:- The shower room contains a new modern power shower, basin and toilet and comes with towels and toilet rolls. Please do not take these towels to the beach but do ask if you forget yours, we may be able to offer spares! Living Space:- The living space is light and airy with blinds for privacy and curtains for warmth. There is a large sofa, kitchen area with combi-microwave/oven/grill, sink, kettle and toaster. There is also a single induction hob and slow/multi-cooker. Crockery and cutlery are provided and spare cupboards for your own food. Tea and coffee are provided and there will be milk on arrival. Basic breakfast is provided in the form of cereal and bread for toasting. Cooked option may be available at weekends for additional cost. There is a TV with a Roku box allowing access to freeview and your own Netflix. A workspace is provided in the form of a laptop desk and workchair, with plugs, access to WiFi and an adjustable lamp. We also have air hockey and table football tables if you fancy some extra entertainment!! The room is heated by an independent electric radiator which can be adjusted for comfort. Outside Space:- There is a small outside private courtyard with a small table and chairs, for barbecues or eating out with plenty of room to store surfboards, etc.
Guest access
You will have full, private access to the annexe which has a locked door into the main house. You will have private access to your own outside courtyard.

We are more than happy to help wherever we can and would be delighted to meet you but will leave you to your space unless you have any requests.
Neighbourhood overview
The house is in a quiet cul-de-sac with easy access to all the main routes throughout Cornwall. Newquay town is close to hand as are a choice of beaches, woodlands and tourist venues such as the highly acclaimed Eden project. For the TV lovers Poldark's favourite beach is a short hop away and Charlestown and Port Isaac well under an hour. Closer to home there are 3 pubs within a 5 minute walk which all serve food, a village shop and post office and park with a free tennis court, we do have rackets!
Getting around
There are bus stops at the end of the road and a five minute walk away which access most of Cornwall. There is also a train station 5 minutes walk away and we are 15 minutes from Newquay airport. We are centrally located on the north coast and all the major routes through Cornwall can be easily accessed from here by car.
Other things to note
The driveway is a large shared area so, whilst there is plenty of room, we do ask that you park considerately, directly in front of Flintways and close to the wall, so that we can get in and out without disturbing you.
