Location

Bridgetown is a small village on the eastern side of the Exmoor National Park and is close to the beautiful Brendon Hills. There is a village pub which serves food, The Badgers Holt, and a camping/caravan site with on-site shop which is oen to non-campers (not a supermarket, but does contains a surprising variety of food and supplies).

Bridgetown is a great base for exploring the Exmoor, there's a multitude of walks and rides that will take you all over the National Park exploring the wooded valleys and open moorlands.

Just 5 miles away, Dulverton is known as the southern gateway to Exmoor and is also home to the head quarters of the Exmoor National Park. There are several streets of shops in Dulverton including a butcher, bank, Post Office, fish & chip shop, greengrocer, late-opening supermarket, art gallery, hairdressers, guns and fishing tackle shop. There are also a number of quality boutiques, interesting gift shops plus a handful of lovely restaurants, tea rooms and pub.

In other direction, Winsfordis 3 miles and Wheddon Cross (with village pub, petrol station and mini-supermarket) is approx 5 miles.
