2 bedroom Cabin and studio Guest House on Cascade Creek
Gay and Wayne Hasle
About Gay and Wayne Hasle
Owners, Gay and Wayne, lived in Houston, Texas and worked in residential remodeling and nursing. They were acquainted with the former owners and Wayne did some of the updates in the cabin for them. We visited the property from Texas for years before having the opportunity to buy it. Since then we have shared it with friends each summer when we weren't visiting. We finally were able to move to the area three years ago and we still use the cabin. Now we are opening it for others to visit and enjoy
Gay and Wayne Hasle purchased this Cottage in 2002
Why Gay and Wayne Hasle chose Cascade
This unique cabin with it's location on Cascade Creek offers comfort and convenience. The world is not far away so restaurants, brewpubs, and activities are within easy reach. The lure of mountain peaks and outdoor adventure also beckons. However, returning to Cascade Cabin provides a retreat from the world and the relaxation only the sound of a mountain creek can provide.

Short but awesome
We loved this little quaint cabin. Unfortunately we couldn’t stay longer. Great location for all the big attractions of the area. We were in town for a wedding but hope to come back. Owners were wonderful and very quick to reply. Thank you for such a great cabin.
This was such a peaceful setting! The location was amazing!
I would highly recommend this beautiful cabin! Having a big front porch to relax on & listen to the creek out front was picture perfect!
Beautiful place to stay!
My family loved our stay at cabin on the creek! We loved the character of the beamed ceilings, windows & fireplace. The home was equipped with anything you could need, including hiking poles. There’s a pretty easy hike near the property. We loved relaxing on the front porch on the evenings and listening to the creek. The home is located close to so many attractions. Gay is a great host. We highly recommend this property!
We had an excellent vacation. The Cottage is very quaint and perfect for our family of 4. It wasn't too far driving from anything and very close to trails and the Pike's Peak highway. Any supplies we needed were there (kitchen, bathroom), no issues at all.
This is the most perfect mountain get-away! The location is excellent and convenient to hiking trails as well as all the activities that the CO Springs area has to offer. The house is tremendously charming and wonderfully appointed! We loved our time here and are already looking forward to coming back again!
Perfect setting & location!
Gay is amazing! She is so very helpful on what to see & where to hike.
We brought my son & nephew along, both young teens. They loved, loved the little guesthouse. They stayed there for the whole week.
The only thing that would have made it perfect would be a washer & dryer on site. Fortunately the laundromat in town stays open until 11 pm in the summer.
The neighbor to the right of the property isn’t vary friendly. Make sure you don’t go on her side of the stream otherwise you’ll get scolded like your one of her dogs.
There is a lot of driving required in CO, especially if it’s your first time.
I would definitely stay here again & we will definitely be returning to CO!
Located just minutes west of Colorado Springs, our cabin in the mountains affords a cozy retreat from hot summers and a tinge of winter in May and October. The trip though rock walled Ute Pass into Cascade is stunning. The trail behind our cabin leads up Heizer Mt. that overlooks the historic Ute Pass area. Local tourist attractions can be reached within minutes. Many mountain vistas and trails are within walking distance and more within 1/2 to 1 hours drive. Or, you can retreat from it all to lounge by the creek and escape into a book. Restaurants are walkable or in quaint neighboring towns. A quick trip into Colorado Springs offers many dining and entertainment delights.
Nearby Cripple Creek is a scenic drive to casinos or gold mine tours and the town of Victor is an abandoned mining town that is fun to explore.
