About the property

A beautiful family home furnished and decorated in the style of the period

This charming Victorian house boasts many of its original features, and rests in the seaside town of Weston-Super-Mare.

The house benefits from private off-road parking for 2 large cars or 3 small cars. Pets are welcome.

The porch leads to a lobby convenient for leaving your coats and boots. This opens on to a spacious hallway with imposing staircase, antique display cabinet and chandelier.

Off the hall to the right is a cosy snug. Here you can relax and watch TV in peace and quiet, or read a good book at your own leisure.

The lounge is equipped with another large TV, leather sofa's, an arm chair and a feature fireplace, all complimented by a chandelier and attractive accessories.

The dining room has a table and chairs to seat 8, and makes a homely place to enjoy meals with family and friends.

Continue through to the well equipped kitchen, housing all of the essentials you may need. Beyond the kitchen is a newly fitted loo.

On the first floor you will find a king-size bedroom glamorous and elegantly designed with outside views of the garden.

The twin bedroom is completed to a high standard with plenty of storage space and delightful bedding.

Chandeliers and feature fireplaces add Victorian character to all the rooms.

On the same floor, a family bathroom contains quality fittings and makes a calming place to unwind at the end of the day.

Take the next set of stairs, and you will find another king-size bedroom which is beautifully appointed, with bedside tables, lovely bedding and soothing colours.

The last bedroom comes complete as a double-aspect twin with pretty soft-furnishings and plenty of space.

Outside of the house on the patio area you will find garden furniture with a table and chairs to seat 8, and a gas fired barbeque. A delightful spot to spend a summer evening.

From the house it is just a short stroll to the centre of Weston-Super-Mare with all its shops, restaurants, pubs, cinema and theatres, and then on to the seafront with the famous sandy beaches, pier, and children’s amusements.

Further afield you can enjoy the breath-taking coastline, cliffs and sheltered bays. The spectacular Cheddar Gorge is nearby, as is the famous Wookey Hole. The beautiful Mendip hills and neighbouring Quantocks offer stunning views and superb walking.

When staying at Winston House you will be spoilt for choice for places to see and things to do in this fabulous location.

About Tim Levingston

Tim and Bridget both had long careers in IT and now have decided to leave the rat-race and enjoy a less stressful life in Somerset. We have a second, smaller holiday-home on the seafront at nearby Brean Sands so, when the big house is let out, we happily move into the holiday home and relax.

Why Tim Levingston chose Weston-super-Mare

Weston-super-Mare is undergoing major regeneration - the pier has been re-built, the seafront pavillion refurbished with new restaurants etc.; a new leisure complex has just been opened with 8 screen cinema, gym and restaurants; the town square has been completely renovated etc. etc. We fell in love with the house at first viewing - huge rooms, high ceilings, lots of period features including, now, 12 chandeliers! Great location close to town and beaches - and with private off-road parking.

What makes this house unique

Very unusual to find a large "whole-home" holiday let with private parking within walking distance of the beach and town centre. Great for families.
