It is on the top floor of an attractive, modern, four-story building with a marbled entrance and an elevator. There is plenty of on street parking right outside the building. The exterior side of the apartment consists almost entirely of windows, so it is very light and sunny with views of green fields and part of the village. There is a large, brand new children's playground just up the street. The village has two restaurants, a pizzería, and several bars, one with a pool table. There is a bank with an ATM machine, and shops include a pharmacy, a fishmonger, a bakery, and two small supermarkets; a large supermarket and and a multitude shops, bars and restaurants are available nearby, in the beautiful, medieval town of Viveiro, 15 mins away.

Great location for exploring this beautiful area
Great spacious apartment with lots of light and cool breezes. We had originally planned to stay 4 days, but extended our visit. Arrangements were perfect, apartment clean and outfitted with almost everything you would need. The view did not face the sea-but we loved looking out on the fields and houses. No problems whatsoever.
Thank you for this nice review. I am glad you enjoyed your stay.
Excellent flat - perfect for families and well equipped. We loved O Vicedo and Galicia!
Excellent - perfect home from home! Would highly recommend to both couples and families.
Very comfortable apartment
This is a very clean and spacious new build apartment with all equipment that you need. There was plenty of space for our children. We had no problems at all during our stay.
The location offers easy access to beaches and the best fish restaurant in town at the harbour is within easy walking distance. O Vicedo itself does not have much to offer (and it seems to have a strange micro-climate at some times!), but it is well placed to explore the northern Galician coast. Viveiro is about 20 minutes drive away and is a very pleasant place to explore and eat.
There is a reasonable supermarket within 200m and Viveiro has everything else you might need.
Arrangements for arrival and departure were easy.
Overall we had a good experience and the apartment is fairly good value for money.
Immaculate Spacious Apartment
Our stay in Galicia was met with rather inclement weather however this lovely apartment made our stay very comfortable.Key collection was easy call Acezuna and she is there within 5 minutes . Immaculate all the way through with everything one would need .There is an excellent WiFi service here..had to reboot at it first but then ok for the duration of our stay It is situated on the edge of the village but only a hundred metres away from shops and bars..Opposite is a smallholding which is a hive of activity. It has a naughty goat, cows, sheep, geese and cats. The local fish shop seems to have been closed for a while so we went to the local supermarket where they have a fresh fish counter. There are several other shops including a hairdressers, fishing tackle shop, ironmongers and butchers.
There are lots of nice walks to various little coves best one of which was Xilloi which can be walked to in 30 minutes or is a short drive out of the village.
All in all a great place as a base for exploring the region
.We will definitely book here again
An excellent apartment with great customer care
We arrived quite late at night (approx 11pm) and the arrangements for getting the key worked well. The apartment has plenty of space for a family and the two bathrooms are a godsend! All the facilities are as described and our two weeks stay went very well. We enjoyed total privacy during our stay, but support and help was available via email and phone if needed. We had a small problem with the Wi-Fi, which was put right quickly and with a great deal of attention to customer service by the owner. I cannot praise her too highly for doing all that she could to make our stay enjoyable and resolve any problems, however small.
The area is a good location for a family, with a huge variety of beaches within 5 to 15 minutes driving distance. Be aware that the sea can be cold, although that didn't deter our children!. There are surfing schools at the Praia de' Esteiro and Praia San Roman. There are several good restaurants, but the one we liked the best is the Hotel Semaforo de Bares (on a headland which is the most northerly point in Spain)where the food is very good and two of the staff speak English. Our favourite was the Paella Marisco, but you do need to order it in advance (it takes more than an hour to cook). Directions to the beaches and descriptions of the restaurants are all in the "welcome pack" which is emailed to you and available in the apartment.
We can thoroughly recommend the area, the apartment and the attention to customer service shown by Siusan (the owner). Truly a 5-star service.
Impressive. Really enjoyed our stay.
Modern, clean and well equipped apartment. Great location for beach access. Really enjoyed our stay.
O Vicedo is a perfect place from which to explore the beautiful and unspoilt north-western coast of Spain, known for its fishing villages, scores of clean, sandy beaches, wild horses, and delicious seafood. Three sandy coves and two long beaches of white sand are within easy walking distance (5 - 15 mins). Spectacular views of the coastline can be seen from the lighthouses located at northernmost point of Spain, only 15 minutes away, and from walks along the cliff tops. Another wonderful place to walk is along the wooded banks of the River Sor, and miles of quiet country roads through fields and eucalyptus trees are ideal for walking or biking. Kayaks may be rented locally for use on the river, the bay, or the sea. The picturesque medieval town of Viveiro with its steep pedestrian streets has many amenities and is also a beautiful place to explore. Recommended longer day trips include the beautiful pilgrimage city of Santiago de Compostela and the Ribeira Sacra and Ribeiro wine regions
