The dining table seats 4-6 people. A good sized bedroom with King-size bed is next to the wet room / toilet. Upstairs is a generous sized bedroom with en-suite shower room. The Velux roof windows ( with black out blinds) mean the room is light and airy and you can lie back in bed and enjoy the night sky as there is no light pollution.

The cottage is configured so that if you only wish to rent the downstairs this is possible as privacy is easily maintained by locking an internal oak door leading from the downstairs to a rear lobby with private entrance.

Fantastic stay in a wonderful cottage in a peaceful and beautiful setting...

  • 5 of 5

We spent almost two weeks in Woodland Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The cottage is almost new and so it is in excellent condition, very clean, most comfortable, and outfitted with all the modern conveniences. Snuggled in the forest, the cottage is conveniently located to nearby towns, villages, and interesting sites to explore. Ian and Victoria are a very friendly and helpful couple. We enjoyed Ian's sample of baking with a delicious nut loaf and tasty lemon cake. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cottage so much that we felt sad to leave. We will certainly be recommending this lovely cottage and wonderful couple to our friends and family for a vacation of a lifetime - we may even return again! Thanks again for a great experience, Mark and Bobbi
