I was at the Villa f...
I was at the Villa for twenty days in August 2018. The Villa is perfect, built in 2014. Wonderful style and amazing view. Calm and Privacy. My Istria has a perfect organization. Nearby you have nice restaurants and truffle shops A perfect location for a relaxing holiday. .
The villa is situated near the ancient town of Buzet. Buzet is situated in the very north of Istria near the border with Slovenia. Its historic core, dating from the Middle Ages lies on a hilltop above a fertile valley of the longest Istrian river – the Mirna. Today, Buzet is widely known as the 'City of Truffles' since the forests
along the Mirna River are especially rich in this divine tuber. According to some views, the white truffle of Istria is as good as the most famous white truffle from the Italian region of Alba. In honour of this truffle, each year Truffle Days are organized in September and October. The famous medieval Istrian town of Motovun is located just a few kilometers away from our holiday house. The stunningly beautiful medieval hilltop town of Motovun is known as a town-monument and exudes true Istrian charm and history offering spectacular views across hills blanketed with vineyards, hamlets and farmhouses, and the magical Mirna Valley. Traditional local festivities as well as a renowned international film festival are hosted here, bringing this peaceful little town to life.
