Fantastic Villa and Location

  • 4 of 5

- We had a great stay in Wyndham Villa in mid march 2016. The villa was very spacious, easily accommodating 6 adults and 2 children. The kitchen was very well equipped with plenty of glasses, plates and pans etc. More than enough utensils to cook large roast dinners for everyone.

- The villa is very close to the centre of Braunton, which has a number of useful shops and cafes. Braunton can be reached by bus from Barnstable and there are also plenty of buses from Braunton to nearby attractions. There is parking on the street outside.

- Great selection of toys and books for the children and good space for them to play in ‘the den’ and outside on the terrace.

- Plenty of places nearby to see which are within easy reach of the house. Our day trips included: Ilfracombe, Cycling on the Tarka Trail to Instow (Bikes rented from Otter Cycles), Croyde Beach, Saunton Sands Beach, Crow Point Beach, Lynton & Lyndmouth, Heddon Valley.

- Overall, very happy and would recommend.

Charming and well appointed holiday townhouse

  • 4 of 5

Wyndham Villa is great. It was perfect for my family short break. Close to all the usual town amenities as well as the beach just a few minutes away (by car).

The house is lovely...well appointed with all the mod cons I would expect, but also some little bonuses that I wouldn't...superbly comfy beds, treats on arrival (including wine!), tasteful beachouse decor here and there, a lovely woodburner etc.

Garden terrace has a beautiful view and feels like a lovely restful escape...perfect. Wyndham villa was exactly as described and I'll be back to visit again.

A real gem of a place

  • 5 of 5

A beautifully appointed house - warm, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The owner was a pleasure to deal with, and provided many thoughtful touches that made our stay really special (e.g. Christmas decorations, a welcome pack of goodies, and presents for the children). The area is beautiful and, despite pretty appalling weather, we managed a few excursions to the local beaches. We would recommend Wyndham Villas unreservedly, and hope to return in sunnier times. Definitely a cut above the rest!

Great short break with extended family

  • 5 of 5

We booked Wyndham Villa for a short break in October, all very last minute and we were very lucky to find such a gem for a large group of 10 extended family members, including 5 children aged 3-10. From the outset the incredibly efficient and personable owner could not have done more to make the booking process easy and quick and was even flexible in our checking out times which was a huge bonus. The house is deceptively large and incredibly spacious, with a Den in the attic kitted out brilliantly for kids including toys, DVD's books and a sofa bed for them to sleep on if required. All beds were comfortable and complete with quality coverings and duvets - it really felt like a home from home. Fittings were clean, high spec and well maintained with enough cutlery and utensils to furnish an army! We didn't want for anything during our stay as even the body boards, buckets and spades were provided along with detailed instructions for every appliance. We felt like guests in someone else's beautiful house which was in a perfect location and suited all ages. The only potential issue for some could be parking which was tricky for us given we had three cars however due to the central location of the house and having been pre-advised by the owner on parking alternatives, we managed OK. All in all a great stay and we WILL be back!

Superb Christmas

  • 5 of 5

We are a large family with 5 young adult children. For Christmas 2012 we all decided we wanted some luxury by the sea. Wyndham Villa looked great in its description but when we arrived there we found that the house far exceeded our expectations.

Everything works, the bathrooms are splendid, the bedrooms are spacious with crisp linen, and there's a fine pub just 3 minutes' walk away. The owners went to the trouble of leaving some Christmas decorations - they are easy people to deal with.

We all voted our stay at Wyndham Villa the best Christmas we've had for several years, including our daily blustery walks on nearby Saunton Sands, one of the best beaches in England.

Thoroughly recommend Wyndham Villa, we hope to return.

House with fantastic facilities

  • 5 of 5

Thank you for a fresh, vibrant and creatively designed interior in this villa. We all had an amazing and comfortable stay.

The facilities in the house are just great - with plenty of entertainment for the kids, tvs, dvds, toys, etc.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lovely stay and had a lovely barbeque on the decks. Great space!
