About the apartment:

This 60 square square meters Marble Arch holiday rental is located on the 2nd floor of a secure residential building without a lift. These romantic accommodations in central London are perfect for a couple or even a small family looking for a central place to stay in England’s capital city.

Upon entering you are greeted by the fully equipped kitchen with a stove, dishwasher, mini refrigerator and freezer, toaster, microwave, coffee maker teakettle and more. Full sets of cutlery and crockery are provided along with pots and pans and other utensils. The flat also has a clothes washing machine and drying rack so you can pack lightly and save room in your luggage for some special London souvenirs. An iron and board are provided for your convenience. There is a dining table and chairs should you decide to stay in and cook one evening instead of going out to one of the many restaurants around Marble Arch.

Next to the kitchen lies the large living area containing a large sofa, armchair, coffee table, decorative fireplace, flat-screen TV with cable and more. The couch can be converted into a sofa bed to sleep two additional guests if necessary and extra linens are provided for this bed. There is a free Wi-Fi Internet connection available throughout the apartment.

The bedroom contains a large double bed with big windows allowing plenty of natural light to flow in. You have all the storage space you could need with a walk-in closet and wardrobe with hanging space and drawers for all your clothes. All bedding, sheets and pillows are provided and you will find the bed neatly made on arrival. The bathroom is located en-suite to the bedroom and is only accessible by going through the bedroom. It features a combination bathtub/shower, toilet, hand sink, towel heater and hair dryer. Complementary toilet rolls, shampoos, shower gels and hand soap will be provided to start off your stay. Luxurious bath towels are provided for 4 people as well.

The apartment is heated throughout during the winter months. There is no air conditioning but we will be happy to provide you with fans for your stay should warm temperatures be in the London weather forecast.

A member of our Welcoming Team will meet you upon arrival, give you the keys and entry codes, a tour of the apartment and its appliances, help you to connect to the Wi-Fi and more. You’ll find a personal guidebook in the flat with suggestions on where to eat and shop in London.

- Damage Deposit. £400. This will be pre-authorised on your credit card during the check-in.

- Smoking. All of our apartments are non-smoking.

- Pets. Unfortunately furry friends are not allowed in any of our homes.

- Parties. The apartment is not suitable for parties or events and the maximum number of guests should not exceed 4 people.

- Minimum age. The main booker must be 27 years of age or older. Unaccompanied minors are not allowed.

Good Holiday in London

We just returned from a short holiday in London. We were three adults and stayed here very comfortably. The apartment is as described and as pictured - well appointed, clean, very close to the Tube station, museums and other sights. We had everything we needed in the apartment and were quite comfortable relaxing there when not out and about exploring London. Our contact, Pierre, was very friendly and helpful; he showed us around and gave us some really good tips on what and when to see in London. The bottom line is that we were very pleased with the apartment and can highly recommend it.

Central location in London

Great location & spacious

We stayed in the condo for eight nights. The location is great for walking to London attractions and accessing the Tube if needed. The flat is spacious and very light inside. The manager was responsive to our few requests.

Nice quiet apartment and location

Very nice apartment, centrally located

Lovely mews cottage that has been recently updated. The owner was extremely cooperative and noted that we were one of the first to rent so there were still some finishing touches required. He responded quickly when we made requests and his team were very professional. Plenty of room for our large family. We would definitely rent this again

it was the worst experience I ever had . Never again!

We have to wait on the street with all our luggage more .than 1 hour, The reason: wrong address given by the agency. Both of us are over 70 years and we came to London after 3 hours drive by the rented car and 1 hour trip by taxi from Heathrow airport..

The building the apartment is located is not in a good shape. The apartment itself meeds for sure a lot of improvements.

My main complains relate to the kitchen: electric oven not working properly, really poor quality and quantity of plates, no coffee cups, no wine glases, a few pans and pots really worn, with scratches and even rust traces. Chairs in the kitchen full of greasy spots.

Because of that we have to eat all our meals in restaurants. I have chosen apartment not the hotel, because I love to cook, Unfortunately I have to forgot shoping at magnificient Selfridges food court and preparing our dinners.

Other complains: there was no a single shelf in the bathroom, all things needed have to be kept on the floor. On the second day of our stay the hanger for the shower has fallen out of the wall. I have sent a special report on that. Mr Alex , who has contacted us a day before our arrival, has promised to send the technician but no one came

Information prepared for quests full of warnings and threats, reading it you would like to make your stay as short as possible and for sure not to recommend to others.,

That is not the first time I have chosen HomeAway agency to rent apartment or home but for the first time the quality of service provided and of the apartment were so poor.

The only positive thing is the apartment location.

I put one star i the rating field because there is no other possibility,, Frankly speaking even one star could be to high.

We are happy to help our guests out when they are unsatisfied with something and we like to remind our guests that we are reachable by email, phone or text message 24 hours per day but we need to have an open communications process in order to be made aware of what was making you uncomfortable. Please know that we would have been glad to provide you any missing items as well as assist you with the oven. We can now assure you if have updated our kitchen items and included more detailed instructions on the oven operation. We have done our best to describe and photograph the unique layout of the bathroom and we are sorry if you did not quite understand the setup before booking. We would like to apologize that our technician couldn't come during your short stay, please know that the hanger for the shower is now fixed. We are also sorry if you found that we had too many requirements. We have implemented these small procedures to ensure the long-term wellness of the apartment and its facilities, as well as a secure stay for our guests. Regarding late check-in: in the instance that you arrive between 7:00PM and 9:00PM, there will be a £30 late check-in fee, if you arrive even later, between 9:00PM and 11:00PM, the check-in fee will be £50.
