Two Floor Apt - 2 Bedroom UK TV Channels, Blu Ray, Fridge Freezer Washer

Why not wake up to fantastic views? Have breakfast in the sun on one of the terraces looking out on the sea view. Later in the evening have a relaxing time on the terrace at the back and watch the spectacular sunset. Ideal family accommodation will sleep 4 people. Easy booking/payment/key collection system, has many appliances, 2 bedroom duplex (bedrooms and bathroom upstairs) apartment situated directly overlooking the Amarilla Golf course (10th fairway) just two minutes walk to the sea & new marina.

I have put together a 'things to do' document which I send to guests. It covers things that other guests and I have done whilst on holiday and so gives ideas as to what is available and where these things are.

Two minutes walk to local supermarket & bars. Ten minutes walk to Golf del Sur/San Blas and the shopping/nightlife area. For more nightlife there are Los Cristianos and Play de Las Americas (Veronicas) which are a short (15 min) car/cab ride away.

There are three private terraces - two large and one small, offering great views and sunshine at any time of day. TV has BBC1, BBC2, ITV1 and sports channels along with a Blu Ray/DVD player.

There is a choice of four communal pools on the complex to choose from. These are private and accessed by Key Fob. Great choice for a relaxing holiday where lively options are reachable but not intrusive

The Local Amenities: The apartment is set in the relaxing area of Amarilla Golf. There are two 18 hole golf courses to be enjoyed. Local bars and restaurants are within walking distance. I provide a map of these with booking confirmation documents.

The local sports bar covers all sporting events on it's large screen TVs. The Terrace bar host a Sunday BBQ with live entertainment. The local Aries bar hosts Quiz nights.

Neighboring Golf del Sur/San Blas hosts nightly entertainment in 'The Square' and The local Premier bar lines up various entertaining evenings. The Wild Geese pub has live entertainment on most evenings and is a 5 minute walk.

The golf club is about a ten minute walk. Night time entertainment is sometimes offered in the golf club. Spanish entertainment and flamenco dancing is often offered across the golf course at the Aquamarina Hotel.

The Apartment: The apartment which is a duplex style (bedrooms upstairs) boasts three terraces enabling you to privately soak up the sun for the whole day if you wish. There are 4 private (Key Fob entry) communal pools on the complex to choose from. All pools have free sunbeds and some have pool bars.

The apartment has recently been painted inside and outside and refurbished to include new kitchen and bathroom. Apartment has a fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave oven. It also has a Flat screen TV which has BBC1, BBC2, ITV and the sports channel 1 and 2. The TV also has a video player, DVD and some tapes and DVDs to play. Upstairs there is a TV in the main bedroom that can be used for DVD playing.

New sun curtains have been installed which helps to keep the temperature down. New ceiling fans help to cool things down too. A new safe has been fitted. All new tiling throughout the apartment along with new furniture installed Summer 2012.

Trips, Excursions and Things to do: Various trips are on offer from the local Fairways reception office. These include whale/dolphin boat trips, Mount Teide volcano trip, Various shows (Medieval night, Tropicana show), Go Karting, Zoo Parks and Aqua Parks.

Various water sports are on offer including wind-surfing, scuba diving, para gliding, jet skiing and surfing.

There is a horse stable near the Golf Club House for anyone who enjoys horse riding.

There are so many things to do on Tenerife that it's likely to need a return visit.

Why Anne McKenna chose San Miguel de Abona

I love the location of the property and the views each morning and evening. Its a treat to wake up and look out on the golf course with a cup of tea and just take in the lovely surroundings. Its great to watch the sun set on the back terrace and the huge blanket of stars at night. Tenerife is an island that I love to holiday on as its got lots of great weather most days of the year. The location is only ten minutes to the airport so its easy to get to once the flying is done. The view of the golf course played a big part in the decision to buy the apartment.

What makes this apartment unique

I love the views. I love the upstairs bedrooms. I love the three terraces that catch the sun all day. I love the choice of swimming pools. I love the birdsong in the morning as the birds wake up on the golf course. I love the marina and being so near to the sea that you can walk to it and look for turtles. I love the new refurbishments I have had done in the property which makes it feel like a home from home. I love the fact that the place is only 5 to 10 mins drive to the airport and only 15 mins drive to pretty much all the attractions and night life a person wants or needs. I love the fresh food that you can buy locally and cook easily. I love trying out the cocktails in the newly opened local soul bar where there is music and dancing most nights. I love the fresh sea food in the local fishing ports. I love trying out my Spanish when I'm there and seeing the smiles I get in return.

Just to let you know we are back home in England. Isn't it cold !! Thank you so much for letting us stay in your apartment. We miss it already.



We really enjoyed our 10 weeks stay and can't believe it went so fast. But it's nice to be back to see all our family again.



We left your place as we found it and pleased to say we had no breakages. But Les had to change a few light bulbs. Thank you for letting us stay longer on our last day it gave me the chance to get all the washing done.



2 days after we arrived your management company came and fitted a new tap in the kitchen as the old one was a bit broken.



We had an endless stream of friends popping in to see us while we were over. We also got very friendly with with your neighbors downstairs. They are a really lovely couple.



I've left you quite a library of books. Our friends kept leaving them behind for us to read. So enjoy them yourself when your next out there.

Notes:
For your comfort there are ceiling fans in some rooms. The apartment is duplex in design on with the two bedrooms and bathroom located upstairs. New beds installed August 2013. New kitchen and bathroom fitted. 3 roomy terraces - 1 facing west and 2 facing east means you can enjoy the sunshine all day. There are 2 communal swimming pools within a 1 minute walk and a further 5 pools to choose from on the whole complex. There are local shops, bars and restaurants within a 3 minute walk. Golf del Sur with it's many additional amenities is a 10 minute walk away. Nightly entertainment is offered in the local bars which includes guest singers and guest comedy acts, quizzes and fun casinos. Terrace restaurant and Chinese restaurant are within two minutes walk. Nearby activities include: 2 Aquaparks (15 mins drive), Horse riding (5 mins drive), Go Karting (5 mins drive) and various watersports including scuba diving at the local marina

Adequate apartment but not worth the money we paid

Our first impression on arrival was that we had booked an apartment in a poor area as every window and door has locks and double locks. When we eventually got in which was at 10pm there was not even a bottle of water in the fridge All the shops were closed but managed to buy some small bottles from a pub so that we could have a cuppa in the morning.

The rooms are very small and the furniture is not of a great standard, especially the lounge units which are falling apart.

This apartment advertises it is for 4 people but it would be very cramped with four, the dining facilities is a breakfast bar which only Seats 3

There are 3 balconies but all are in a poor state of repair with the walls crumbling so not particularly pleasing to sit on . The one with a table and two chairs is on the top floor off the bedroom so if you wanted to eat out you would have to carry your food upstairs through the bedroom . The stairs are extremely steep with no handrail and not very suitable for small children

The bathroom is small and is beautifully tiled but rather spoiled by the plastic shower tray and lack of water pressure. You cannot shower if the toilet is filling or if someone turns a tap on elsewhere

The kitchen is lovely with lots of cupboards, I can't comment on the cooker etc as we didn't cook in the apartment

The bed linen and towels need replacing as the sheets have long since passed being white and had holes in them, the shower mat was a similar colour

The apartment was clean on our arrival but the outside window bars are rusty so didn't look clean, there was a note left to say the windows hadn't been cleaned because of the weather!!

In summary this apartment was not worth the Money we paid for 8 nights. We have booked many other apartments in and around this area which are much better. The only thing going for it is the view over the golf course and the lovely pool area which is spotless

Sorry but couldn't recommend this apartment, I note there are other positive reviews but we didn't feel the same

I assume owner is happy to holiday here but it needs to be upgraded for renting out as it is rather tired in places

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review. It was a very interesting one given that you run a very basic Travelodge in Scotland where the online reviews are less than shining in lots of instances. Cold and damp bedrooms and smells feature a lot for your BnB. The rooms are as photographed including the breakfast bar which has room for 3 because of the wall its attached to. There is a large round table and chairs for dining outside with ample room for 4 or more. Like Scotland we have no power over the weather and rare as it is and when it is not possible to clean the windows then we can't do this but we certainly explain. The bed linen and towels are items that I would have thought you would raise with my agents if you had a complaint. The towels are grey as is the bath mat to match the grey and black tiles in the bathroom. These are not discoloured but were actually purchased as grey. The previous guest lifted the table and chairs from the terrace next to the living room to the terrace next to the bedroom. This could have been sorted with a call to my agent who would move it for you from one terrace to another if you could not manage it yourself. He advised me that you didn’t ring him about this. Regarding rust on the bars - these were fitted only last year and are painted brown which may look like rust but isn't. There was dust as explained due to the windows not been able to be cleaned due to the very windy weather over which I have no control. Regarding value for money - it is £600 for 8 nights at your Scottish B&B where there is no "welcome pack" , no free access to swimming pools, no beautiful views, no sunshine and only one single shared double bedroom with tiny shower then I would have thought that the cost of £400 with at least four times the space and facilities offered very good value for money indeed. There are indeed other apartments in the area that rent for a far higher cost than this one. My own return guests have told me lots of tales of these so clearly these are the ones to which you refer and ones that you intend to return to if they permit you to do so. I am the owner and I am indeed more than happy to holiday here regularly as are my guests and my increasing amount of returning guests. I am sorry that you do not feel the same and that there was nothing that was done to make your stay better. Frankly we didn’t know any of it until now. We can all learn from the experience.

clean, well situated with 3 balconies

Felt secure because of grills & safe. The extras of pool towels, candles, matches etc much appreciated.

A welcome pack of water or milk in the fridge would allow weary travelers to have a drink on arrival without having to go to the supermarket.

An awning or brolly on either of the upper balconies to give some shade would have been welcome As would another small portable table which would allow us to eat anywhere dependent on sun, wind etc

The apartment was well maintained with great views over golf course & harbour

La description de l'appartement correspond parfaitement.

L'appartement et toute la résidence est très propre et très bien entretenu.

Seule la proximité de l'aéroport apporte quelques nuisances sonores qui s'interrompent la nuit heureusement...

La propriétaire fourni un descriptif détaillé des activités ou des visites à faire sur l'île, ce qui est appréciable.

Les commerces sont à proximité.

Le climat est très appréciable à cette saison.

Les paysages sont très variés: il suffit de faire quelques kilomètres pour passer du désert à la jungle sans oublier les paysages lunaires du Teide !

Fabulous Holiday.

Just had 2 lovely weeks at Pebble Beach. The apartment was great with amazing veiws from the balcony, also watching the golf! It was great soaking up the afternoon sun from the back terrace. The apartment was clean and comfy.The choice of the three swinging pools was a bonus.we will definatly be going back to Pebble Beach with so many restaurants etc.we thoroughly enjoyed our evening meals. Hope to go back in November.

A little paradise.

We just came home after 4 weeks of lovely holiday in the same property for the 5th year in a row. Beautiful view to the sea and golf range from terraces from sunrise to sunset. Very clean apartment and well equipped. Friendly customer service. Possibility for swimming, walking and shopping nearby. We will love to recommend this place for all of our friends.We definitely come back for christmas.

Amarilla Golf is situated south of Golf del Sur on the south coast of Tenerife. It's about five miles to Los Christianos and about seven miles to Playa del Las Americas. The nearby airport is Tenerife South which is two miles and one motorway junction away. The local shopping/entertainment area is San Blas. This is about a ten minute walk away on the other side of the golf course.

There are two large supermarkets within a 5 minute drive. There is another smaller supermarket within a two minute walk. Golf del Sur & San Blas is about ten minutes walk away and offers another express type supermarket, bars/restaurants shopping and various night life. Nearby bars and restaurants 500m walk.

The apartment is ideal for families and brilliant for golfing holidays. The location and views also make it an ideal choice for couples who would like a quiet romantic place.

Other Activities: go karting, bars & restaurants with entertainment, night clubs, shows, aquapark, siam park (water slides), zoo parks plus usual resort facilities are not far to drive to.

Golf: Amarilla is an 18 hole championship course .Apartment overlooks the 10th fairway. It's a beautiful course with some parts of it overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and Local Marina.

Golf Club facilities include:- Club house, trolley and buggy hire, tuition, driving range, putting green and a pitch and putt course. A well stocked golf shop, superb and friendly clubhouse, restaurant and snack bar. The golf club expects patrons to provide details of their handicap before they play.

Occasionally at weekends the golf club offers night time entertainment. The grand piano is sometimes used by performers making the evening a bit different to other evenings. Other Golf courses includes:- Golf Del Sur (10 minutes walk from Apt), Las Americas - 10 minutes car ride, Adeje - 20 minutes car ride, Real Club De Tenerife, Los Palos (Par 3) and Las Roseleda (Par 3).
