The best place where to relax after a day spent visiting all the beauties of Florence.

The apartment is on the first floor of a 19th century house, in front of an ancient cloister (13th century) now " Oblate Library and cultural centre".
A LIFT is available- NO wheelchair
Its location is in the heart of Florence, 100 meters from the Cathedral and within walking distance from many restaurants, museums, monuments, theatres and the famous fashionable shopping areas.
It is suitable for two couples or a family.
The internal disposition of the rooms allows the best privacy when sharing the apartment.
It has 2 separate bedrooms: the first is a large charming room with a king-sized bed, separated by an entrance and a long corridor from the second, which has cast-iron twin beds. There are 2 bathrooms, both with showers.
The living room has a sofa bed for 2 persons and leads to the beautiful terrace.
The furniture is antique style, while the kitchen is modern and fully equipped, including fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, cutlery and crockery, etc. Air conditioned - Internet ADSL Fiber . TV satellite. Ideal for 4 persons.

Fantastic location and very stlyish

As a base for hitting the pavements, sights and soaking up Florence, this was perfect. Very home from home Italian style. Lovely and knowledgeable hosts with excellent restaurant recommendations and things to find off the beaten track.

Location and comfort!!

From the warm welcome by Laura to our last breakfast - a delightful experience. All the main tourist sites are within easy reach, the electric buses are nearby if you get tired of walking. We cooked most of our meals and enjoyed the excellent market Laura showed us, the kitchen allowed us full facilities. The photos are accurate! Of particular value was the terrace, full of plants, facing south but well shaded. As an unplanned bonus the World Cycling Championships passed under the window! Many thanks to Laura.

Giotto's Bells

A one-of-a-kind haven in the midst of the bustling historic district. It is an apartment that makes living in Italy thriving, not just surviving. With a view overlooking a cloister garden and a large private garden terrace it was hard to pull oneself away to go see the sights of Florence. Being a block from the Duomo and a block from a great grocery store made local living fun. The convenience of a washing machine also simplfied life so we could focus on enriching our florentine experience. All in all I would go back there in a heartbeat, just to awaken each morning to Giotto's resounding bells.

My husband and I we are doctor in Economics gratuated at the University of Florence and we are married since 1977.
Gabriele is an expert in marketing and advertising and me in financial businness.
We love to travel and meet new people. We live in Florence, not too far from Oriuolo Street.

The location allowes you to visit Florence without any difficulties, enjoing to be near to all you "must" see in town!
The apartment lets you feel like to be at home: paintings on the wall are belonging to the family and some made by my husband's father.
So an important part of us, of our feeling and way to live is reflected in Oriuolo apartment.

The terrace offers you a quiete place where you will relax enjoing the sun and that special feeling that only in some hidden corner of Florence you can still find.
The new small LIFT( not suitable for wheellchair) is an important plus in the historic center of the city as well the terracce.
The location wich is unique near to the Duomo, museums, shopping area. etc.
