Villa Alexandros Palace is situated in the heart of the historic and pretty village area of Peristerona near Polis in Paphos District, Cyprus. Accessed through iron gates into the extensive private grounds, this impressive stone built villa (with an array of traditional features, and all modern conveniences) has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing holiday in the Cyprus sunshine.

The villa is spread over 3 levels and has 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, (en-suite to master with jacuzzi bath and king-sized 4 poster bed) and sleeps 10. It has a 8m x 4m private swimming pool with Roman steps (can be heated), separate jacuzzi pool, full air-conditioning, TV with Satellite & DVD, Wi-Fi Internet connection, dishwasher, washing machine, an open fire (for those cooler winter evenings) large stone built BBQ, a pool table and more. The setting is both serene and spectacular with the rolling hills of the nearby villages and the not too distant sea at Latchi giving views you'll remember forever.

Details of the Interior:

The villa's large wooden double doors lead into a large airy open plan space comprising of seating areas on either side, inside dining area and kitchen. The cool, comfortable lounge is furnished with a large sofa and armchairs in rustic style. A 32'' LCD TV with Satellite & DVD occupies one side, whilst at the other the centrepiece is an open log fire for those who wish to take advantage of some daytime sunshine & a cosy evening atmosphere in cooler winter months. The adjacent dining/breakfasting area is equipped with a sturdy wooden table and ten chairs. The fully equipped kitchen has modern appliances including, large fridge/freezer, oven, gas hob and extractor hood, microwave, coffee maker & many other extras. A very useful kitchenette/ laundry room with washing machine, dishwasher & a further oven and gas hob leads off the kitchen. Doors from the lounge area open out onto the balcony which hosts table and chairs (a perfect place for alfresco dining at any time of day)

Interior Cont: and on to the beautifully kept enclosed garden and private pool area. The views from the balcony are spectacular and take in the rolling hillsides as well as the Akamas nature reserve and the Sea at Latchi beach. A nice airflow is maintained by keeping the front door and patio doors open at the same time allowing comfortable temperatures even in the height of summer. Making up the ground floor is a double bedroom with king sized bed. The adjacent bathroom with bath and shower over makes this a self-contained area for those who do not wish to climb stairs. There is one further guest WC on the ground floor to keep the shower room private. Moving upstairs and you will find a further 4 bedrooms. The master bed is a double bedroom with king-sized 4 poster bed, fitted wardrobes, satellite TV and an en-suite bathroom with jacuzzi bath. The second, third and fourth bedrooms on this level are all twin bedrooms and share a bathroom (bath & shower).

Exterior and Extra Info: The private grounds & beautifully kept pool area are accessed through a set of iron gates that lead down the long to the underground parking area (parking for at least 3 cars). An outdoor gazebo with picnic table overlooks the centrepiece of the grounds which an inviting 8m x 4m private pool (can be heated for a supplement) with Roman steps (and ladders) and the Jacuzzi pool (not heated) next to it. The spacious pool terrace is nicely equipped with large sun loungers and parasols that also benefit from natural shade from the palm trees. A pool table under the house llets the children (or adults) pass time in the shade. Access from this area can also be gained to a changing area with kitchen, shower and WC.

The villa has air-conditioned bedrooms (charged extra as required) and has proper central heating for cooler off season months (available at a supplement). A wooden cot and high chair are supplied free of charge on request. Extras such as pool towels, hair-dryer, stereo, toy box.

''The villa itself was amazing, we were a party of 5 and there was deffinatly more than enough space. The first thing we noticed was that it was very clean and spotless. As soon as we arrived at the villa we knew we'd made the right choice, the views were unbelievable. The pool was a nice size and the jacuzzi pool is also a really nice touch. The bedrooms were spacious as well as both of the living rooms and kitchen. Also with the villa being up in the mountains there is hardly any humidity.



The location is perfect if you're looking for somewhere quiet and peaceful to get away to, which is what we were looking for. It is about 20 minutes in a car to get to polis and about 35-45 minutes to get to the Paphos harbour. I would recommend renting a car whilst staying in the villa because it is a little bit out the way, saying that it wasn't an issue for us as we were provided with amazing service from Andys taxis (Andy himself was also very helpful and was happy to help with anything and everything).



During our stay in the villa we did only visit Polis the one time, however we were down at the harbour a lot of the time as there are a lot of activities you can do there. There are plenty of restaurants in the harbour, one of our favourites was Poseidonas, the food is really nice it is deffinately worth a try.



I was more than satisfied with the service provided by Steven from LetsRentOnline.com he was very helpful and any questions I had he was more than happy to help. Any problems or questions Alexandros would come to the villa straight away to resolve any minor issues. He would also check in every few days for maintenance of the pool and would make sure we were enjoying our stay at the villa. We were also invited to a barbecue on one of the nights we stayed and had an amazing time so thank you for your perfect hospitality!



The villa was pretty much faultless, neither me or anyone in our party have a bad word to say about it. The only suggestion I can think of for anyone staying in the future is deffinately rent a car. We have had an amazing time and thank you again for all of your help! ''.

Fantastic villa!!

This is a very comfortable , spacious villa . The villa is located in the small town of Peristarona and is very quite and peaceful . The Villa is clean and very well maintained , with plenty of towels and extra bedding if needed. Polis and Latchi are a short drive away and provide most things you will need , plenty of shops and restuarants . Make use of Latchi watersports and hire a boat for the day , they provide a good service to see an amazing coastline.

Porto Latchi is a good restuarant (dont be put off by the over sized sign), with great service and the kids can play on the beach afterwoods while you finish up.

I have stayed in a number of 5 bedroom accomadations with my family over the years (normally 10 of us) and I can say this is the biggest and best for this price range. This will be my first choice next time we go to Cyprus.

A car is a must , and there is plenty of parking on the property.

The owner and management company where fantastic and helpful and can help with anything you need. Thanks guys for a really great stay.

What a place to spend holidays

Excellent house for bigger crowd. We had 2 families and grandma &pa spending a week's holiday. Villa had just everything you can possible need. You can have your own peace there and enjoy for the great scenery, especially at dark. If you keep your eyes open, you may have a chance to see an eagle searching for pray. Pools were fantastic and that gazebo was a savier when sun was warming a little too much.

There's a good taverna some 3 kms up at next village called Lysos. Take also have takeaways. Also some 3 km towards Polis, there's a little village with good tavern. Rental car is must in this property. Strong recomendation

Peristerona village centre is just 200m away from Villa Alexandros Palace & where you will find a taste of the ‘real Cyprus. With its mini-market selling fresh (natural) organic produce, coffee shops & friendly locals, you won’t have to travel far to get the most out of your holiday. The nearby village of Steni (2km) provides a further choice of coffee shop (with Wi-Fi) & traditional taverna for dining during the day or in the evening. In nearby Lysos (5km) you will find a well-known hotel (Paradisos Hills) with excellent restaurant, a further taverna, and a few other shops. Activities in Lysos include horse riding, clay pigeon shooting and many walks & mountain bike trails for those who like to be active. Slightly further afield, you will find further amenities such as supermarkets (3km), pharmacy, petrol station, & the more extensive choice of bars, restaurants, shops, etc., in Polis (8km). The nearest beach is at Latchi (12km) which is well known as one of the best on the island.
