Dove House and Swallows are converted barns on a family farm which has been in the same family for several generations. This 1000 acre part of the estate is now run by the owner and her husband, it is a beautiful farm consisting of rolling Dorset downland.
The properties were created in 2000 when there were virtually no large houses with all en-suite facilities to be found, particularly with an indoor pool in a spectacular location. We struggled to find such a place to go on holiday so when we decided to create a holiday house it was obvious what was needed!!!
The incredible location of the two houses is hard to beat. Close to so many attractions but fantastically rural and peaceful all our guests love it. Sitting in the garden watching the wildlife, walking from the door. Plenty to do on site and yet only a short drive to a wide variety of things to do for all ages and interests. Over 14 years we have had only positive feedback, many repeat guests and no empty weeks, speaks for itself ....
