Beautiful grade 2 listed apartment in a lovely leafy location. 12 miles from centre of London, close to Heathrow airport, minutes from Ham House , Richmond park, Ham Common and Petersham Nurseries.

The property is beautifully furnished and comprises of a large elegant living room with fireplace and dining area ( seats 8), a bedroom with double bed and ensuite toilet, full kitchen ( electric oven , gas hob microwave, fridge freezer , dishwasher, Carrara marble worktops ) Bathroom with antique Claw foot bath and separate rain shower, a second living room/ bedroom with a sofa bed lots of storage and a pretty private courtyard walled garden.

The property is ideal for a romantic getaway. It is also family and pet friendly ( house trained pets with responsible owners😊😊)

Richmond Park and other lovely walks on your doorstep.

Equal distance (3 miles) from Richmond and Kingston upon thames with lots of great Restaurants and shopping.

There is a TV, Apple TV, Netflix..a stereo system, and unlimited WiFi.

Also free landline national and local calls. ( premium numbers or mobiles not included )

The apartment is within a short walking distance of Ham and Richmond for local shops, restaurants, pubs and station, with trains to London Waterloo.

Bus stop within a 150 yards with numerous buses to Richmond, which has great shops, theatres, cinemas, riverside restaurants and bars, as well as the underground and trains to Central London ( 15 minutes fast train), Ascot, Windsor and Eton. Buses also go to Kew Gardens, Twickenham, Heathrow and Hampton Court

Ferry service across the Thames during the summer months to Twickenham. 2 minute walk to New Inn pub which serves food all day . Short walking distance to Ham House, Petersham Nurseries, Petersham Cafe, Ham Polo Grounds and Richmond Park or walk along the tow-path to both Richmond and Twickenham.

Also, nearby are Kew Gardens, Bushey Park, Twickenham Rugby Ground, Syon House and Hampton Court Palace.

Distance to Central london is 10 miles (15 mins on fast train from Richmond Station )and Wimbledon Village ( Wimbeldon Tennis ) is 6 miles away

There is plenty of free parking on the street outside the apartment

Pets: We will allow one larger or two small well behaved dogs, we ask that you clean up after your dog in the garden.

Cleaning: We ask that you leave the apartment clean and tidy on departure, if left in an unacceptable state this will incur an extra cleaning charge which will stopped out of the security deposit. End of tenency cleaning is included in the rent ,If you wish for an additional clean this will be charged at £10 per hour.

1A Southlodge

We really enjoyed our week at 1A Southlodge.

We were met on time by the owner’s representative and welcomed into a very clean apartment full of fresh flowers and a bottle of wine!

Our main aim was to relax for a week and we were able to do that within quiet and peaceful surroundings with the added bonus of the small garden area perfect for a late afternoon drink.

We used the bus stop to Richmond or Kingston (2 minutes away) to go shopping a couple of times even though we had our car. Car parking is on the road but there was always space at all times of day.

We found the apartment ideal for visiting the historic Ham House (short walk) and Hampton Court Palace (short drive) as well as Petersham Nurseries (short walk) and of course, Richmond Park.

The computer/internet access was extremely useful in planning our days out and finding the best coffee shops!!

We were very pleased, overall, with our choice of what is really a country location with good access to surrounding amenities and also central London via train. In addition our deposit was returned within a week of our return home.

Richmond area gem

Our family spent a week in Richmond area (family wedding) and couldn’t have found a nicer flat and hosts in Marion and Diane...handsomely adorned apartment, great location, responsive owner, and courtyard a welcome retreat in the occasional sunshine. What a jewel!!!

A delightful gem !!!

We couldn't have asked for better accommodations on our first visit to Richmond and greater London. Close to buses (and a pub!). I don't know how Marion arranged for a dusting of snow on our first morning at Southlodge, but it was magical. The entire place was clean, inviting, and comfortable, thoughtfully decorated, and with fresh flowers for our arrival. We stayed for 10 days, but the time just flew by. We look forward to coming back some time in the future. All in all, an excellent place to stay, away from the hustle and bustle of London, but easy bus and train access to everything we wanted to see and visit. Thank you, Marion!

When I Dream, I Dream of South Lodge

I had the magnificent pleasure of staying at South Lodge for 1 month last Fall. (2017)

Marion is a fantastic host. South Lodge is impeccably furnished and decorated. It has everything one needs for a perfect holiday. Including, WIFI, Mac Computer, cable, Netflix, landline, china, stemware, top of the line cookware, and so much more.

The private garden is so beautiful day and night. In the evening, the garden’s landscape lighting provides a calming, relaxing space to enjoy evening cocktails.

I had Weekly housecleaning service with Natasha & her sister. They were delightful.

South Lodge welcomed me with fresh flowers all over the house, chilled champagne, fresh fruit, lovely biscuits, milk, juice, coffee and many cooking staples.

I dream of returning to South Lodge over & over to enjoy the environs, Ham Common, Saturday Farmers Market, horse stables, the nearby German Deli & Bakery, Sam’s Pizza, the corner Pub and much more.

I could not more highly recommend South Lodge. It provided for a perfect London experience.

It was/is Brilliant, Lovely & Royal!

Superb Apartment by Ham common

Stayed in this beautiful apartment over Xmas 2017 and enjoyed it tremendously - lovely grand high ceiling rooms, well stocked kitchen and Marion had put out Xmas decorations and a bottle of bubbly to welcome us - we brought a small (well behaved) dog along so we had some lovely walks along the common and Richmond Park - recommend this apartment highly

Well furnished, very comfortable flat in an excellent location.

We stayed in Marion's apartment for 2 weeks. Marion was quick to respond to any of our requests, one of which was a very early check in. The flat is very well furnished and comfortable. There are very high ceilings giving it a grand, open feel. Both bedrooms have plenty of space as well as cupboard space for clothes. The kitchen is well equipped. Marion provided fresh flowers, tea, coffee and a bottle of bubble and some milk which was very much appreciated. The courtyard to the flat is really cute and great for the warmer days. Marion's flat is in a superb location, bus at end of street (10 mins into Richmond), numerous pubs within walking distance, Ham House and River 10 mins walk and the flat is directly opposite a common with a duck pond. We were family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) and we wouldn't hesitate to stay in Marion's flat if the opportunity arose again. Thanks Marion for a very nice 2 weeks in your comfortable and stylish flat.

There are also three theme parks, Chessington World of Adventures, Thorpe Park and Legoland within less than an hour’s drive. Kingston has almost three miles of one of the most attractive stretches of the River Thames.
