This is a bright, spacious and contemporary 2 bedroom (one Superking/Twin bed and one Double Bed) Garden Flat with two bathrooms (one en suite) in the heart of Edinburgh's New Town. The flat has every mod con you could possibly want for a short stay, long weekend or longer stay in the City including HDTV, Sky TV including Sky Sports, full WiFi, Sonos Music system, Nespresso coffee machine, wine cooler and an amazing private garden with table, chairs and gas BBQ (gas supplied). There is also a wood burning stove in the lounge (all logs supplied at no extra cost). We also have a garaged car space available nearby for an additional cost and if pre-booked with us. The flat is 5 minutes walk to the heart of the City Centre; George Street, Princes Street, a 10 minute walk from Edinburgh Castle and the Old Town, and 12 minutes walk from the main railway station, Waverley Station as well as from the tram and bus networks which gives access to the airport. The flat is also 5 minutes walk to Stockbridge & Broughton Street, two of Edinburgh's most vibrant suburbs. The flat is therefore well served by quality restaurants, coffee shops, bars and supermarkets (Tesco Metro and Sainsbury's Local at the end of the street) as well as being handy for all the major tourist attractions.

About Scott Gibson

My wife and I have lived in Edinburgh for over 30 years now. We have 6 teenage/twenty something children and have lived in our Town House in Northumberland Street for almost 7 years now. Most of the 'children' have now left home and so we decided to convert the Garden Flat into a completely self contained flat suitable for holiday/business lets. It is stunning and is the sort of place that we would want to rent if we were visiting a capital city ourselves. We would like to think we have thought of most things which will help make your stay comfortable and special. We even have an available garaged car space nearby for an additional charge if you wish to take your car with you.

Why Scott Gibson chose New Town

The property is quite unique for the letting market in Edinburgh in that it also has it's own private and self contained garden as well as a garaged car space nearby (for an extra charge). This architect designed garden, which has also recently been developed is accessed directly from the kitchen/dining/living areas via large glazed double doors onto a stone patio area. Outside tables and chairs as well as bench seating are provided for guest use as is a gas BBQ (gas supplied). The garden is lit too so can be used in the evenings. While we do not condone nor encourage or even allow smoking in the property, smokers are welcome to use the front or back garden areas.

Open plan living/dining/kitchen area with stunning outlook onto a recently redeveloped contemporary garden, and all in the heart of the City within walking distance of all of edinburgh's unique attractions. It is a real home from home so has everything you could possibly want for a weekend away, short break, extended stay in the heart of one of Europe's Culture Capital's. Uniquely for Edinburgh, this flat has direct access from the new open plan Living/Kitchen/Dining area to it's own architect designed private garden plus a garaged car space nearby (for an additional cost). As well as being within a short walking distance of Edinburgh's attractions and it's main shopping thoroughfares, it is also located in between and only 10 minutes walk of two of the City's most vibrant areas for bars and restaurants being Stockbridge and Broughton Street and 12 minutes walk from the main Waverley railway station and the tram/bus network giving access to the airport. You will be spoilt for choice of bars and quality restaurants. We have lived in Edinburgh for 30 years so please just ask us for recommendations.

Lovely-my favorite place of all the flats we stayed in

This flat was in such a perfect location, close enough to walk to the castles and the mile, around the corner from many restaurants but a very quiet area too. Enough furniture, as some rental flats we found to be sparsely furnished. I wasn't sure if the back and front gardens would be shared or private but they are only yours. I only wished we had more days to stay here and enjoy them longer. If looking for a place in Edinburgh this is the perfect place hands down! Comfortatble beds, nice bathrooms, great communication with the owners and well equipped!

Beautiful flat

I am reluctant to leave a review because I don't want to share this find. It's a beautiful, clean, modern and centrally located flat. The hosts couldn't be more helpful and communicative. That's all I'm saying. See for yourself....or not, I'd be happy with that.

High quality 2-bedroom city center apartment

Very comfortable and quiet apartment only 10 minute walk from Pricess Street. I stayed over a month for work and found the location and facilities perfect. Sainsbury's and Tesco are at the end of the street, great restaurants and bars too.

Excellent stay in Edinburgh

Very well appointed flat in the heart of Edinburgh. Perfect walking distance to dining and points of interest in the Princes street and castle area.

We really enjoyed the attention to details. Beautiful kitchen with all the gadgets was excellent for dining and relaxing.

Would stay here again. The host Scott is very nice and helpful.
