This is a relatively new development very close to the beach, on slightly elevated site with stunning sea and mountain views. It is equipped with lifts, air conditioning, swimming pool and each apartment has an indoor parking space. Free WIFI. The apartment is located on the top floor, only three storeys above the garage. Furnished to a high standard with all modern conveniences. It is south facing, you can enjoy the sun on the balcony from mid-morning to sunset. It has a large balcony with an awning if you just want to sit and take in the beautiful sea views. There is a very large private roof terrace where the sun can be enjoyed all day.

Fuengirola has five miles of wonderful well cared for beaches, bordered by a magnificent Promenade for that leisurely evening stroll. It has a very popular street market in the local Fairground every Tuesday. There is an aquatic park within 12 minutes walk from the Fuengirola bus station. Its Municipal Zoo is the only one on the Andulasion coast. Skate Board Park, Boating for the children on the river nearby.

There are numerous Golf courses nearby. Skiing can be enjoyed on Sierra Nevada (a couple of hours drive) from December to April.

It offers everyting that I want in holiday accommodation in that while I can enjoy the benefits of Fuengirola when I go into the apartment the holiday feeling and atmosphere doesn´t end but continues through the beautiful views, sitting on the balcony and watching the little fishing boats coming home or on the roof terrace and enjoying the sun or the beautiful mountain views and the castle lt up at night.

Notes:
Playamar is a relatively new block of apartments on an elevated site in a quiet area yet convenient to all amenities. It has a large balcony and very large roof terrace (not counted in the 800 sq.ft.) with fantastic sea and mountain views. It is furnished to a high standard with a fully equipped kitchen. It has air conditioning/heating which is paid through a meter (One Euro gives two hours)which means you only pay for what you use. There are two small convenience shops with restaurants/bars less than five minutes walk and a Hypermarket 10 minutes walking. There are numerous restaurants and bars within 15 minutes walk and of course the beautiful walk along the famous Fuengirola promenade. Numerous activities for both parents and children nearby.

Exceptional - I've already booked for next year!

The apartment was lovely. It was spacious, well equipped and very clean. Air con, Wifi and English telly which pleased the kids! The private roof terraces were wonderful - mountains the sea and a Medieval castle all in one vista. The shared pool was lovely. Not too cold, never too busy and the grassed area around it was very tidy and well kept.

Apart from a small incline up to the apartments, the local area is totally flat. The town was a 20 minute walk along the promenade, which was enjoyable. There are masses of restaurants, catering to all tastes and pockets. The local supermarket (10 minutes walk) is part of the Miramar, a large, modern shopping centre with favourites such as Primark and Zara. There were chain restaurants here for people who want to know exactly what they're getting!

For the kids, (and adults!) there is a Zip Line (6 Euro for 2 rides) and bungee trampolines (5 Euro 10 minutes) less than 10 minutes walk, and on top of the Miramar a go-kart track (15 Euro for 15 minutes). There is a small but fun water park (Aquamijas) about 25 minutes walk away. Don't forget to book before you leave for your repeat visit for a 50% discount. And get the bus to Mijas. (about 1.5 Euro per person each way). It's a beautiful village, totally geared up for tourists with restaurants and local craft shops. The bus station is in the town centre.

We got the train from the Airport to Fuengirola. About 12 Euro for four of us. It was spacious and airconditioned and we all got a seat! It was lovely to see the coast roll by. We got a taxi from Fuengirola to the apartment for about 10 ish Euro.

Everything about this place is easy! Totally relaxing, nothing to worry about. Brian the owner is a pleasure to do business with and Donna who looks after the apartment in Spain was friendly and helpful.

Amazing Apartment

The Apartment was all we could have hoped for with everything you have at home.Beds were so comfortable, fully fitted kitchen with all utensils. Sun Terraces were amazing (sometimes too hot). I took about 20 mins to reach the heart of Fuengirola, but this was a delightful walk along the prom. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to other guests as it has it all.

Very nice sunny apartment with lovely views

Nice comfortable apartment with nice sunny balcony and very sunny roof terraces. Spacious and well equipped, in a quiet location but only 20 minutes walk from the centre of fuengirola e.g. Shops, fish alley (main restaurant area) although many restaurants nearer the apartment , supermarket and shopping centre 10 minutes walk . Owners and staff very helpful, we certainly enjoyed our stay.

2 week holiday

The apartment was clean and tidy having the two roof balconies was excellent the views are stunning you got the sun all day, the sun loungers were great as was the table and chairs. the kitchen appliances were very good and there was loads of cutlery,utensils,plates,glasses very well equipt The bedrooms were very spacious with plenty of cupboard space for your clothes,the bathroom was a good size and very clean.All in all we had a great holiday and would recommend the apartment for your next holiday.

Great Apartment

We stayed at this apartment for 2 weeks in July 2013 and had a fantastic time. It was a very large apartment which was very clean and well-equipped with everything you could need. The balcony had fantastic views over to the sea and the neighbouring villas and had shade awnings which were very welcome. The roof terraces for sunbathing and drying clothes were wonderful and from here the views during the day and at night were stunning.

The bedrooms were a good size with single beds, and there was air conditioning throughout the whole property which was payable via a meter. The bathroom was a good size with a shower over the bath.

We spent our time between the pool and the beach. The pool had showers at the side and grassed areas for lounging.

It took about 5/10 minutes to walk to the beach, where there were sun beds for hire, beach cafes and further towards the centre, swanboats, a zipline and trampolining. From the apartment it took about 20 minutes to walk to the centre of Fuengirola. About 10 minutes away was the large Miramar shopping centre with a huge supermarket.

We would recommend this apartment - the lady who looked after it in Spain was very helpful. The owner also provided excellent service when booking via email

Brilliant Penthouse

We stayed in this apt in May 2011 and I couldn't fault one thing about it. It is very clean, well equipped, wonderful location to shops, beach and restaurants. Fantastic views from balcony, plus the added bonus of your own sunbathing terrace. Wonderful friendly couple who look after it who are more than helpful. I would recommend it to anyone, and will definetly return.
