The apartment Gauguin is ideally located, luxuriously furnished, thoughtfully equipped, and private. You will know you made the right choice from the moment you arrive.*
Gauguin is a light and spacious luxury studio at Maison Pierre D’Or, a traditional stone house on the edge of the medieval centre of Sarlat in the stunning Perigord Noir region of Dordogne in South West France.
Gauguin is the perfect base from which to explore the town and its surrounding countryside. It’s ideal for couples, and is an easy 5 minute stroll into the medieval centre with its markets, bistros, picturesque squares and historic buildings.
Gauguin features a generous open room with sitting and dining space at one end and a spacious sleeping area at the other. It has a large Velux window in the ceiling and another window in the gable wall, offering views over Sarlat and filling the room with light and sunshine. The studio is fitted with an air conditioning unit for the hot summer months. Guests staying in Gauguin have use of the terrace in the garden where there are tables and chairs, a BBQ and deckchairs which are surrounded by trellising and plants and flowers for privacy.
Attention has been paid to the details. The studio has been furnished with great looking, light, oak furniture. There is an exceptionally comfortable king size bed with fresh, crisp, cotton bedlinen and squishy pillows. The shower room has a walk-in shower and big, soft towels. The TV receives both French and English channels. There is also a bright and well equipped kitchen. There are a host of personal touches, including paintings by a local artist, making Gauguin a luxurious and special place to stay.
And, there is free on-site parking and free high speed WiFi.
