Nestling in the quiet farming community between Colmurano and Ripe San Ginesio you will find Casa Coppari. Situated just outside the beautiful medieval walled town of Colmurano, which lies halfway between the Sibillini mountains and the Adriatic coast, Casa Coppari is a recently renovated farmhouse which has been lovingly refurbished in the traditional style of dwellings in Le Marche. It has unequalled views over the mountains, rolling hills, valleys and hill towns in the area, and even the Adriatic sea.
The garden, has a lush lawn, bay trees, fruit trees, acacias, olives, and roses.
SUNDAY CHANGEOVER DAY DURING HIGH SEASON!
One guest felt so inspired after staying as to write a poem..
The olive trees have got it made! They gaze out on this awesome glade.
The fire flies visit them at night, and butterflies delay their flight
To land upon their juicy leaves, and peddle pollen to the trees.
The buzzards sky-dive through the air. They've seen it all, but what is rare
Is how they claim this as their own, and canonise - with dulcet tones.
Those muted echoes of respect, and admiration, in effect,
Combine with choruses of swifts, not letting their own songs be missed.
'Idyllic' is a well-worn term, much over-used, but hard to spurn.
Search the dictionaries, if you will, to phrase precisely how you feel
About this magic, unreal setting. Case Coppari awaits your letting.
… that’s the best way to describe our arrival at Casa Coppari. The view over the valley is breath-taking and the gentle light on the hills and fields creates a unique atmosphere. The house is beautifully decorated, offers an enormous amount of space and is very cosy. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped with all conceivable utensils. The garden and pool are very neat and invite you to relax. Our point of contact Janet and Nathan were real gems and helped with lots of advice and recommendations. The surrounding villages can be reached easily by car for all necessary shopping. Someone who is looking for peace and rest in a non-touristic area will definitely find the right place here. We would have really liked to stay a third week!
A really enjoyable stay in a beautiful house very well equipped. Particularly enjoyed eating on the patio whilst soaking up the views. The house is set in a nice area full of interesting villages and some great restaurants, one of the best being a short stroll down the lane. We found everything we needed in the house which is well hidden and a great escape. Enjoyed walking locally and visiting the many attractions. Also a great base for driving to the nearby towns of character and exploring the wider area, sandwiched between mountain and sea. Only regret was not to be able to stay longer.
The views from the terrace and pool have to be seen to be believed. A really beautiful place; well restored and fully equipped for a perfect holiday. The house is of a high standard, comfortable and very peaceful. The surrounding area is also of outstanding beauty. It was great to start the day with a swim in the pool followed by breakfast on the terrace taking in those endless and seemingly timeless views. The towns and villages are all worth exploring to immerse in the Italian lifestyle or to just watch the world go by with a cappuccino or glass of local wine. Every restaurant we tried in the area was even better than the last. Luckily there were also some great walks in the area to work off the long lunches and dinners. House and location recommended without hesitation.
It's always a gamble coming somewhere new and having to rely on a web-site and reviews, but rest assured this beautiful hideaway will exceed your highest expectations. Set on a quiet hillside, the restored farmhouse offers a perfect mix of rustic charm and modern convenience. As I write this from the mayhem of a post conflict african city, I am revisiting memories of sitting on the outdoor terrace in the evening sunshine as the swallows swoop and flit across the swimming pool, and gazing over to the ancient village on the neighbouring hill as the bell of the small church echoes lazily across the valley.
The house is well equiped for those who enjoy self catering, or alternatively sample the many bars and restaurants still unspoilt by the tourist industry. This is real Italy. During our three visits to date we have explored the beautiful lakes and mountains within an hour's drive, wandered amoung Roman ruins and enjoyed the ambience of the old market towns and museums. A day trip to the many beaches is always on the itinery and we find something new each time we come.
The house is beautifully appointed, quiet and private, and owners clearly pride themselves in the care and maintenance of their property. We cannot recommend it highly enough and will return as often as we can.
This house really exceeded our expectation. We were 9 people and everybody had enough space. We felt totally welcome. The facility is very clean and well-kept. Always a contact available. The house is located very rural so a car is absolutely neccessary. The beach can be reached within 40 minutes. I would definitly recommend this house to everybody who is looking for a quiet, relaxed holiday.
Très agréable maison avec une piscine très bien entretenue. Une vue magnifique et de nombreux petits villages à visiter. Merci à Janet pour ses nombreux conseils et son accueil chaleureux. Superbe semaine de vacances .
Colmurano is less than five minutes’ drive from the house and has shopping facilities for all essentials. Several towns such as Urbisagila, Loro Piceno and San Angelo in Pontano are also within a few minutes drive and you will be spoilt with a choice of fine restaurants and points of interest including a beautiful Cistercian Abbey, fine mediaeval architecture and some impressive Roman ruins. Macerata, Tolentino and San Ginesio are within half an hour’s drive as is the coastal area of Civitanova Marche.
