We are located in the province of Pesaro-Urbino, a territory rich in history, art, culture and nature. Marche is a region where the rural themes of the past are still savored, the regenerating force of Nature and the charm of an epic story. Here are some places to visit:
Populated in ancient times by the Romans, it was fortified in the Middle Ages, it was included, in the fifteenth century, among the dominions of the dukes of Montefeltro, lords of Urbino, reaching autonomy in 1531. It was completely rebuilt at the end of the same century, designed by the architect Filippo Terzi and by the will of the duke Guidobaldo II della Rovere, according to the criteria of the ideal city.
In the village the small Museo degli Orci is dedicated to the processing of terracotta and offers, in addition to the illustration of materials and techniques, a sampling of the typical pottery produced.
Fiera di Sant'Ubaldo, with the traditional handicraft market and typical products, which takes place on the third Sunday of May.
"La tavlata sul castell" Dinner on reservation, served with typical dishes. Itinerant aperitif, concert / final show. The first weekend of August.

Set on a hill at 280 meters. above sea level, boasts a historic center among the best preserved of the Marche. Even today it is enclosed in a wall that stretches for 780 m. It is among the most beautiful villages in Italy. The Fortress was commissioned by Giovanni della Rovere, together with other fortresses of the duchy, to the Sienese architect Francesco di Giorgio Martini and built between 1482 and 1492. Never having suffered attacks is still in excellent condition. Today it is home to the Museum of historical re-enactment and armory, with mannequins in costume and weapons from the 15th to the 18th century. The park of war machines by Francesco di Giorgio Martini was set up in the moat of the Rocca, with faithful reconstructions in real dimensions of catapults, trabucchi, bombards and other siege machines.
The Apollo Theater, built in the mid-eighteenth century on the remains of a fifteenth-century church, authentic jewel with only 80 seats.
from the 13th to the 15th of August the Wild Boar Hunting, historical re-enactment of the arrival at Mondavio by Giovanni della Rovere and the Dignitaries of the Duchy of Urbino is unmissable. The program includes parades, games and renaissance life, fireworks, archery competitions and crossbow.
In the middle of the Metauro valley, on the route of the ancient Via Flaminia, is Fossombrone, a beautiful city rich in history, whose name derives from the ancient Roman Forum Sempronii.
The church of San Filippo dating back to 1600 will amaze you with its baroque majesty.
the Bridge of Concordia on the Metauro river through its reflection, gives a poetic and exciting representation of Fossombrone. Dating back to 1792, it is one of the most praised in Italy for the simplicity of its single round arch.
The Casa Museo and the Quadreria donated to the Municipality of Fossombrone by the notary Giuseppe Cesarini (1895-1977) constitute an unicum of particular interest. Inside there is a rich collection of paintings by Anselmo Bucci, also can be admired: precious porcelains, ceramics of art, crystals, gilded frames, archaeological finds and other rarities. The interiors of the rooms covered with silk tapestries and oriental or frescoed carpets with Art Nouveau scenes create the atmosphere of a wealthy home, witnessed by a taste and an era.
The archaeological area of Forum Sempronii is located about 2 km east of Fossombrone, in the locality of San Martino del Piano, along the route of the Via Consolare Flaminia. Here you can admire the remains of the Roman city of Forum Sempronii, founded in the second century. to. C.
Marmitte dei Giganti, the Marche canyon 30 meters high. You can admire this fantastic place also looking out over the bridge of Diocletian's bridge at S. Lazzaro di Fossombrone, about two kilometers from the city.
GOLA DEL FURLO

The gorge of the theft is a precious place. It is an imposing canyon excavated by the Candigliano river. It can be studied and admired following multiple areas of interest: Naturalistic (on the nearby Mount Paganuccio also the golden eagles are nesting), geological and even historical. His name comes from Forulus, Foro vulgarized then in Forlo and then Furlo. It was one of the first galleries excavated by man in history. In 450 a. C. the Etruscans, to overcome a boulder obstructing the pass during the floods of the river Candigliano, drilled it by chisel, water, fire and vinegar, thus beginning the era of road tunnels.
Today it is a State Nature Reserve.
